Pain killers?

Hi guys I was given ibuprofen 4 max a day can I take other pain killers? I’m 1 day post op and quite Achey and sore 🙁 any recommendations appreciated x

You can take paracetamol as well but they weren’t strong enough for me so I got some co-codomol to take as well x
