Pain of unders!??

So I had my op on Thursday 375/400cc unders, the pain wasn’t all that bad at first but now I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus!! Is this normal? I said I would keep people updated with photos etc but I drdnt take my macom or breast band off, am I just been silly? I keep thinking I’m gunna do damage if I take them off and can’t get them back on again!

I’ve loosened it but I still feel trapped it’s awful! Have you taken yours off before or just loosened it. I’m constantly taking pain killers I’ve no energy what’s so ever, this is the first post since my op and haven’t even took pictures yet xx

hiya hun i had unders and the band was so uncomfortable i would take it off to have a bath so i could get some relief from it and it didn’t affect my results at all 🙂 it’s completely normal to feel rubbish, the meds are probably adding to feeling awful as well but i promise you it gets better. i am 6 weeks PO and i am fully healed and around the 2 week mark i started to feel mostly back to normal. keep on top of your painkillers and rest up xx

Hi Stacey, I’m 4 days post op, 300cc unders. I take my bra and band off to have a shallow bath in the evening and for 5/10 mins in the morning to change it. I understand about the pain, nighttime and mornings are the worst for me. It really does wipe you out. It’s the burning, pulling sensation I find the hardest. Just keep taking your painkillers and antibiotics and hopefully it will improve. Good luck.x

Thankyou girls, it’s nice to hear from others that have been through the same! I think I would be ok if it wasn’t for the band, and pain in my back and bum is something else ?? Need to keep thinking of the bigger picture and stop feeling sorry for myself haha xx

heat pads for back pain are brilliant! £4 for 3/4 i think at most supermarkets, they really helped when i had back ache from sleeping weirdly. just think how good your results will be! ? also you can wear your band on top of your bra if it’s uncomfortable underneath xx

Ohh can you, think that might be better, it currently dug into my back and armpits! I’m gunna try that now ??

@stacey I had to just take it off most of day I had a burning feeling on my right side every time j had it on! It’s too uncomfortable for me, hard to breath – I think it’s also due to the swelling – I’ve used ice packs and its made quite a difference. Try not to use your arms as much either – mistake I made yday ? Xx

@keeno I’ve put it on top of my macom now and it’s eased off abit but the pain it gives my back is something else, I might try it off for a bit tomorrow tho if it has helped you. The pain us women go through eh haha’ xx

Hi jade, I was an empty 34b before, just been out and bought a 36dd sports bra and it fits lovely! Still very swollen and pointy atm tho lol xx

Felt loads better today girls, went to m&s to get some new sports bras and had a day without my band and I’ve never felt better. Had a few niggles here and there but the pain is minimum now ??? Not hardly took any pain killers today either!! Just the waiting game for them to drop and feel like normal boobs now ☺️

Hi girl’s, I had 350cc hp unders in Preston on 23rd June and honestly the first 8 days for me were so painful, day 10 now and I’ve definitely turned a corner! I even took my car out and managed better than I thought. Has anyone else felt a bit scared looking at them?? It took me ages to look at them properly but now I’m loving them. I was a 32a to begin with and I’m hoping I’ll come out a d cup. Fingers crossed. Xx

Hi Tammy!! I’m exactly the same when I take my bra off I do love looking at them but the feel of them makes me queasy lol!!! It’s hard to describe, I can’t imagine not wearing my sports bra…

Hi girls, im day 10 now and I’ve no pain at all, the odd few aches now and again but apart from that I’m fine! Yeah I was the same, I didn’t take my sports bra off at all, I felt like if I took it off the implants would fall out ?? don’t ask, I’m think way over the top haha!! I can’t stop looking at them now, every time I get changed I’m constantly looking at them. They are starting to soften abit now aswell, still numb on my nipples and the bottom half but all in all I think I’m recovering well! Can’t wait for them to drop and fluff ?? xx

I had 375cc unders on 23rd june aswell. I thought I wasn’t going to make it past day 7! but I feel like the pain is a distant memory now… im so glad the pain has stopped, i have twinges on my right side at time but other then that im back to doing all the normal stuff again xx

Hello @keeno glad to hear you are doing well, it’s great now the pain has gone isn’t it!! Even though at the time it felt never ending haha. Are you still wearing your band, I’ve had mine off for past 2 days? Xx

@Stacey – I really thought id made I mistake by having the op – the pain was o bad especially getting out of bed… im back to work today and feels like normal (apart from wearing a sports bra!!) I have a random sting in my right breast randomly. I haven’t worn mine since post op 3 days – I wear the band at night only. how was your post op? x

I was the exact same! I get pain in my right arm pit but the nurse said that sometimes they tie your arms down in theatre to help them get the implant in easier ?? Yeah I just wear mine on a night too.
Had my post op app on Friday and everything was fine, she cleaned my incisions and I had a quick look (very neat and small) going back again this Friday and I think she said she will cut the stitches down if all is well.
How did yours go? Xx

@stacey omg they tie your arms ? Well it’s an annoying pain but it’s bearable, I had my pre op last Thursday the nurse took off the dressing and then cleaned it and said I could shower the next day (woho) I think the incision look quite rough arm ? I hope they get neater soon ? – plus I have big annoying stitches hanging out my next app is on the 16th? Xx

@keeno Yeah my face was the same when they told me haha!! Ehh I can’t shower until after this Friday ?? I wonder why you don’t get seen until then?? It’s meant to be 1 week 2 week then 6 weeks isn’t it?? Xx

@sarah I had the same as you and I found the first 3 days the worst! Have you spoke to your nurse? Xx

@stacey I’m as confused as u are! Plus I was told to shower 24 hours after the nurse took the dressing off and put a steri tape over the incision ? I had my 1 week then she said another appointment at 3 weeks? Why aren’t you allowed to shower and I’m? Xx

@keeno I really do not know, I’m going to ask my nurse what’s so different when I see her on Friday! Unless nurses do things differently but surely for surgery such as ours, aftercare should all be the same? I just want a shower!!! ?? haha xx

@stacey you can mention me if you like – I would have thought we would have had the same aftercare too – I was shocked when she had said I could shower – I also called the nurses up to check – did u take your steri tape off after 24 hours? Xx

@keeno Yeah I will mention you and see what she says! No, when I went Friday, she took my dressing and steri strips off, cleaned them then put a inadine thing on and then a smaller dressing. I’ll try get a picture for you to see! She said she would cut my stitches down this week and then go from there? So have you got nothing at all on your incisions now? Cx

I’ve had nothing on them since Friday ? Here’s a pic it’s from Friday this is what my incisions look like I had to trim the stitches as they are quite sharp ? It’s not pretty x

I had my op on the 23rd too although my experience seems to be different to most. I had 335 teardrop partials and have had a really easy time no pain or anything, just have tape over my incisions now that I change every 3 days. Can’t wait for the next few weeks to pass so they can settle. I can’t seem to add any pics on here but if anyone wants to add me there are pics on my profile. Hope everyone is healing well now. Xx
