    Hi Girls,

I had surgery with traynor yesterday at first trust hospital in Preston, I have struggled to sleep and have a lot of boobie pain, keeping on top of my painkillers tho.. Did anyone go out and buy any stronger pain killers to help? Also how did people find sleeping? Like I’m really struggling but hopefully because it’s the first night. Other than that everything is else fine and I’m really happy with my result. In regards to overs which I got to they change and drop etc, and become more settled? xxxx

    Hi Lauren,

I had my surgery Tuesday evening and didn’t sleep a wink as so tender plus I had to stay at hospital propped up which didnt help! I have been given co-codamol so taking a couple every 5-6 hours. They are great painkillers. Woke up this morning which is day 2 and feeling less tender and sore so hopefully for you in next 24 hours it will ease. What painkillers are you on?

Hi Lauren, I had my op on Tuesday. I was told to take the c0-c0damol every 4 hours but today I’m going to try every 5 hours if I can, to space it out a bit more. I asked the nurse if I could take Nurofen too and he said only after day 3 or 4 as it thins the blood, and if I need more pain relief to ask my GP for Tramadol. Have you been using ice packs? That seems to really ease the pain for me. Hope you feel better soon x

Oh really?!yeh was a long wait that day! Ice packs are good to, just fill sandwich bags up so you don’t get you’re bandages wet and they were great for me last night. Stayed the night even though I was a day patient!

Hope your feeling okay soon Lauren and keep topped up on your painkillers, i set my alarm through the night so i can have mine and make sure i’m not missing any. I’ve just got paracetamol and ibuprofen and they seem to be working fine i’m not in agony and i’ve slept quite well. If your still hurting alot make sure you ring them to give you something stronger so you arent suffering. xxxx

@paris1 I was in at 5.15ish – if you are who I think you are (you look familiar from your pic!) you were wheeled in to recovery around 6.45?

Devon, how often are you taking your painkillers for you to have to take them in the night?
