I had my operation yesterday and went well, not in a huge amount of pain or discomfort just feel tired and quite sick and zero appetite (for once).
Just wondering which painkillers everyone else was given? I have cocodamol, ibuprofen and tramadol. Im only taking cocodamol at the moment because it seems to be ok, but is making me feel sick. Has anyone else had this? I’d rather not take tramadol as i know its really really strong…

I had paracetamol and diclofenic but had tramadol when I had my tonsils out a few years ago and I’d definitely leave it as a last resort as it’s so strong. I was advised that most of the nerves start in your arm pits so getting two cheap bags of frozen peas and sit under your arms regularly which will really help any pain and swelling so worth a try?
I’m now day 5 post op and each morning you wake up that bit better so don’t worry, it really doesn’t last 🙂 x
Ah ok, yeah I think i’ll leave the tramadol! I actually don’t feel in pain just tightness which isn’t bothering me too much. It’s more the sickness from cocodamol that’s bothering me now! That’s good to hear 🙂 🙂
