Painkillers knocking me out! Anything else I can take?!?!

Ladies! These pain killers are making me over drowsy! Anyone recommend anything else I can take? Thinking maybe nurofen? X

They knock me out but just been putting up with it. It’s the co-codamol xx

Yeah that’s what I’m taking but ment to be back at work weds don’t want to fall asleep! Lol no I won’t be able to do much but want to start being a bit active! X

I swapped to ibuprofen and paracetamol or just ibuprofen if I was not too bad 🙂

I’m same I take ibrofen every 6 hours 3 times a day and paracetamol in between that. The co-codamol was to strong for me xx

I was told not to take anything with asprin in it by the hospital for at least 2 weeks so i think u can take any pain relief u like just check it doesnt contain asprin! The hospital gave me dissolvable paracetamol and diclofenac tablets! My meds never made me feel drowsy or sick – pretty lucky really!!! Although i never took them together spaced them out by an hour each and always took them after i’d had a meal! X

Aww girls I’ve been so knocked out can’t move and I’m over emotional! Feel so down today! I’ve got doctors in the morning gonna see what they can give me. Doubt il be much use at work:( x

what do you do for work faye? i feel constantly sleepy, it must be the co-codamol! or it could be down to the fact you don’t get a good nights sleep sat upright lol xx

I work part time as a sales assistant! See I’ve slept fine cos so drowsy! I’ve just took nurofen il let you no if there better babe! X

U can take paracetamol and ibuprofen together. I was taking two ibuprofen/nurofen, and one paracetamol. I cudnt take the cocodamol or diclofenac they fkd me up!
