So I’ve been reading the reviews of MYA on the fb page and come across a lot of negative comments in the last month or so, it’s got me really worried as I’ve booked my op with mya for July.
Just need some reassurance about Mya&their aftercare, also your experiences would be great.
Thanks girlies xx
hi amber π I’m booked in to have my surgery on the 14th of June with mr traynor. I can honestly say that so far i have had no problems and the experience has been stress free. There are always going to be some negative comments but that’s because everyones experience will be a little bit different. Sometime that is extremely important for one person might not even be something another would contemplate. I hope your op goes okay and you can add me as a friend if you want to follow my journey and see how i find after care π good luck!x
@bethanylou5113 I’ve been the same so far, not had any stress really just confusion on what sizes will be ordered on the day of op but I’m hoping I’ll find out more about that at my pre op. I’m also having Dr Traynor π what implant ect are you having? Thanks for calming me down! Just worrying now cause it’s getting closer everyday but I suppose everyone does. I will add you as a friend because I’d love to see your journey, thank you & good luck for your op! x
he offered me a range of sizes starting from i like it was 250cc to 350cc π due to me having one boob slightly bigger than the other I’m having 325 cc in one and 350 cc in the other which hopefully should bring me to a D cup! I’m tiny at the minute i wouldn’t even really call it an A cup to be honest so anything will be better. What size did you choose? My PC said they order a range of sizes and try them all in during the op depending on best fit! xxx
@bethanylou5113 I can imagine 350cc would easily take you to a D cup π are you going under the muscle then or over? He offered me anything from 350cc-425cc and I’m swaying more for the 425cc as everyone says to choose the biggest size offered but he will have to put an extra 25-50cc in one as I’ve also got one smaller then the other. Which clinic are you with? I’m in the Manchester one and my Pc is Natalie, she’s lovely and usually replies to me if I message her. She told me she ordered the sizes in and I said I want the 425cc but she hasn’t said what else will be ordered xxx
do you think? i hope so! id love to be able to go to 425cc you’re very lucky I’m sure they’ll look great:-) I’m going under the muscle and my PC is Lauren who’s lovely. Im just worried that he won’t be able to put the 35o cc in when its the one i desperately want but I’m sure either way they will look nice because anythings better than now! are you going under the muscle or over? I’m not even sure why they put them under the muscle neither. Im also at the manchester clinic and having the op at the first trust hospital preston xxx
@bethanylou5113 I’ve seen girls have 300cc+ and end up like a E cup, it all varies on the individual but like you said whatever you end up with will look great! I was seen by Lauren last time I went due to Natalie being busy and she’s lovely! I’m having over which I was shocked about because I thought it’d have the be under; I think I’d prefer under due to being less at risk of cc ect but it’s whatever Dr Traynor thinks will look best π your op date isn’t long away, I bet you can’t wait! I’ll be having mine at Preston too, heard nothing but good things about there xxx
I’m excited i keep wanting to buy things like pjs and chocolate for recovery haha, is it too soon to pack the hospital bag? haha. I bet you feel the same! all the best with your op xxx
I had my surgery my Mr Traynor on the 24th May, he is amazing at what he does, he was so funny on the surgery day (really different compared to my consultation day where he was slightly grumpy and straight to the point) I had 400cc unders and have had barely any pain. Honestly you’ve nothing to worry about! Xx
I’m the exact same haha, just been buying some post op stuff today, making me all excited! Good luck for your op hun, will be looking out for your posts @bethanylou5113 xxx
Mr Traynor was very straight forward with me when I met him for the consultation ?, but I trust what he offered and that’s why I went with him.. I’m just worrying because of what I’ve seen about the aftercare, but I read into things too much and get myself all worked up. I’m glad you’ve had a fab journey hun, and thank you so much for the reassurance I think I need it sometimes haha @danim2406 xxx
This forum is great for seeing other peoples stories snd pictures etc but it also puts the fear in you about how your gonna be in so much pain (I had none) about things that have happened with other people! Honestly try not think about it and take a lot of bad things you read with a pinch or salt! Xxx
@danim2406 I need to start doing that, thank you hun! Xxx
i had my surgery nearly a month ago and my nurse has been nothing but supportive! even if i couldn’t answer a phone call because i was at work she would email, leave a message or text me and she’s reassured me so much! i haven’t heard much from my PC, last time we spoke was day after my procedure but i guess she’s busy and has a lot of patients. i have found the aftercare brilliant and this forum has been a great help! i was always posting for advice on here at stupid times in the morning and always got a response so thank you ladies! ? xx
@@helenelizabethxx thank you for your positive reply! I’m starting to feel better then I did the other day and have a lot more faith in MYA. I think I just need to focus on my journey and not others as everyone has a different experience, I must say I’ve not been messed about at all so far and my pc is lovely. This forum is so helpful and if it wasn’t for the girls posting updates ect I don’t even think I’d have gotten the courage to book my BA. Just had a look at your profile picture, your results look amazing btw π xx
exactly so don’t worry βΊοΈ it’ll all be okay! i did struggle with peeing after the surgery and i rang the emergency number at 1am, 12 hours after surgery because i was in so much pain and my nurse and PC rang me the next day, just to make sure i was all okay. don’t let the odd bad experience put you off as there’s always the forum and i have found so many of the girls have helped me out! if you really want to do it, go ahead and book it!! i did it asap for a date 8/9 weeks away as i knew i would think too much into it and chicken out. thanks sweet i love my new boobies! ? xx
@helenelizabethxx it’s good there’s an emergency number, I can imagine I’ll be using that once Ive had the op haha. I suppose the build up to surgery you do start to worry, I’m a terrible worrier anyway so that doesn’t help! All I keep telling myself is if something goes wrong it can be sorted. I’ve booked mine for the 12th of July so I haven’t got too long to wait π xx
yeah it was useful having it, was annoying though because 20 minutes after i called them I managed to pee! haha same i always think the worse whenever anything happens! ah that’s good ? what you having done? xx
@helenelizabethxx I bet you were well annoyed haha! I’m having just a breast enlargement, been offered 425 HP overs xx
I was so frustrated as i have had 5 ops in the last 5 years for various reasons and every time i struggle to pee haha it’s the simplest bodily function!! ahh good luck hun! bet you’re excited! xx
@helenelizabethxx aw bless you, hopefully you can pee freely from now on! I am really excited π counting down the days, thank you xx
hi amber has your date been changed? they’ve put me on wednesday the 15th because of problems with lighting xxxx
@bethanylou5113 I’ve not heard anything no.. What was your fate? Xxxx
