Panicking about strapping :(

I get really clostraphobic (sorry can’t spell!) I’m having overs do i have to have it having Dr Singh I’m scared can you take it off yourself?? Thanks x

Dr Singh uses it, and lots! It’s not the actual strapping but how tight it is but it’s tight for a reason as he doesn’t use drains! Just grin and bear it it’s only for a week! xx

Its to prevent swelling i was told not to mess with mine by the nurse – she said do not remove it as its to prevent swelling and internal bleeding! I wouldnt risk it – i was taped up for a week and my strapping was super tight x

I took mine off on day 4 & the nurse just laughed when i went for my one week check up & said loads of girls take it off themselves.. I took it off cause it was too tight & irritating my skin underneath… Some surgeons dont even use strapping at all so it’s preference not essential i would say xxx

I had mr Singh strapping it Is tight but if it gets to much you can phone nurse, I was aloud to cut a v into the top part wich helps loads, and I kept cutting little bits away under armpit bits that where tight. It stops internal bleeding so I kept it on for the whole week, time goes so fast try not to worry about it, drink lots pineapple juice as it brings down swelling, makes you feel less tight 🙂 xxx
