Ladies I’m in desperate need of some advice and reassurance!!
Firstly my stats…..I’m slim athletic and petite. I’m only 5’4″ tall, 8 and a half stone and wear a size 6-8 on the bottom and a 8-10 on top as I’m deceptively slightly broad shouldered. I am a couple of weeks off my surgery date but I’m now panicking if I’ve chosen the right size implant. I have done months and months of research and stalking on this site and I fell into the same trap as so many I read about on here….”I don’t want to spend so much money and be disappointed that they still feel same so I’m gonna go for the max I’m offered, but actually I do still want to look natural and not ridiculous”!!!!
So in my head I had decided on 350 or 375 based on what I had seen on so many other ladies on here! The surgeon was pleasant and has a good record but was pretty “to the point”! He asked what size I was after and I said a 34 D/DD (I know they measure bigger than what they look!!! So didn’t want to say a nice D and end up with what looks like a B/C) I don’t have a huge amount of tissue but my breasts should be able to accommodate a reasonable implant as I’ve breastfed two babies (I finished breastfeeding 4 months ago!) the surgeon raised his eyebrows when I mentioned DD and said he thought that was too much of an ask but a D was ok. After taking all my measurements he said he would offer me 375 in one and 425 in the other as I have some assymetry! I nearly fell off of my seat when he said 425 as it seems big to me, but I told myself that I would only reallybbe having 375’s as one boob has less tissue so the extra 50cc will be just making it up to the same size as my other (incredible small) boob. He said try the sizers on and if I wanted to go smaller then fine but no bigger!!! Well….I’ll mention now that I’m not with mya….but the sizers were absolutely useless!!!!! Yes it was useful to give me an idea of weight butcthe size was ridiculous. All I can explain it as is this……take a big chunky raw chicken fillet….cover aid fillet in cling film…..take one giant rolling pin….and beat the s**t out of he fillet!!!!! That pathetically flat beaten chicken fillet, was what I was given to try as a sizer!!!! It was long and flat with zero projection, nothing like the rounded shape of the 350cc implant that the pc showed me (which looked huge in real life btw!) The pc’s reaction was, you can go a lot bigger than that!!!! Well….I can’t, because 1.the surgeon said so and 2. I know it wasn’t accurate! So anyway, I agreed to go for 375 and 425, and this will be a partial placement as that is what the surgeon said I would need! Fine by me, happy that it’ll look a little more natural on the top aspect but still full below and a slightly lower risk of cc if it’s under! That’s my nerves kicking in so I’m telling myself we’re choosing all the right things!!!
So all is gravy, until this morning…..when I decide to make my own rice sizers!!!! Well blown me down, I looked like Jordan!!!! They are frigging huge!!!!!! So I’m now panicking have I chosen far too big????? I know I will lose some of the size by going under but does this sound massive to anyone else???? I don’t want to panic unnecessarily and chose 375 and 325 and then kick myself afterwards! Any advice or pictures would be so gratefully received! I’ve wanted this for years and now that I’ve finally decided and gone through with it all, along with convincing my parents that it’s the right thing and that I won’t die on the table (hopefully not!) (we are a family of worriers if you hadn’t noticed!) I don’t want to come out looking like I have basketballs in my bra and for everyone to say the “I told you so!” And I don’t want to risk double bubble etc if the implant is too big for me, but now I am just over thinking it co stage surgeon is good and I know he wouldn’t use something too big for me but as he wasn’t all that talkative I think he just didn’t communicate that to me!
One last thing…..as if I hadn’t taken up enough of your time. I rang my pc to check what implants had been ordered and it’s just 375 and 425.
Thanks everyone and sorry to have blabbed on and on! Xxx
Make some rice sizers at home in the size and wear them under your clothes to get an idea of how you will look in different outfits
Search rice sizers on YouTube and it will show you how to make them x
Make some sizers so you can try on at home xx I’m the same size as you but 5-6 and had 450cc overs I did want 550 but I am very happy with the size I think you should go with the bigger size xx I had these yesterday at the Fitzroy London clinics such a good job and no pain . I’ll get pics up soon when I’ve had my tape off(can’t wait!!) when is your op date and where ??
Sorry ladies I’ve done the rice sizers this morning!! That’s where my panic has come from lol. I’m going with THG in bromsgrove xx
Here’s some pics of my rice sizers but I’m sure they look bigger in real life! Lol
Too big for my frame??
I don’t think they look 2 big on you, im 5 2 size 8/10 top and 10/12 bottom im having 450cc mod plus partials, I see some ppl be a FF and then others a E I want to be an E I panic they might be too big but then ive seen some ppls that look really good, but think Id rather have a bit too big than too small….. Regarding the size you have chose if u went down to 350cc there really isn’t much between that and 375cc so I think your overthinking like we all do, im sure your be pleased with them and I would advice to stop thinking of the 425 implant like you say that’s to even u out do Ur gaving 375cc really not much bigger than 350, u Prob only notice it if you went down to say 300 but then u would Prob think that was too small x.
Thank you Chloe!! That’s reassuring! I don’t think I’ll be as big as these rice sizers are anyway cos I’ll lose some by going under the muscles. And also these rice sizers are solid! I’d like to think my implants would be softer lol xx
I wouldn’t worrie about rice sizers looking huge Hun I did them and panicked when thinking they looks massive I still went a head with my size I choose and glad I did Hun they don’t look as big as the rice sizers and I’m soo much in preportion xx
