parkhill hosp was disgusting

I got to parkhill around 10 am and was down to theatre for 10:50 which i was really pleased about. the hole aftercare experience was horrible. I came up from surgery the nurses stated they would get me something to eat evenually thy came back with a dry piece of toast. my drain on my left breast kept coming outso they kept attaching a new 1 but putting the used 1s in a open bin in my bathroom by the time they had done it iverflowed. the hole experience then got worse the night nurse was very abrupt. i asked her for something to eat and she kept ignoring me evenually at 2am she said there maybe a sandwich left .i had really bad gweepin mark on my bck aftr surgery they stated it was cause of the morphine that i had been scratching. i kept asking for something to cover it but the nurse refused although it kept sticking to the bed. my eyes were black nd when i asked why the nurse said “well no one as punched u av they” and laughed. At 1po

at 1 point i was going to discharge myself but she said if something happened. i wouldnt be able to go back. plus my drain fell out completly and i was scared i would bleed. i have never been this scared. mr kazzazi was lovely no faults as yet but as for park hill it was like a horror film x

it was horrible. i had surgery there 8 yrs ago and it was lovely. I read a few bad reviews on here but thought i would give them benefit of doubt. i so regret going now it just ruined my hole experience. my advise would be to stay away from that hospital xx

Aww hun I’m sorry you had a horrible experience. I was there 10 days ago for my op and found it nice. Must be down to which staff are there x

Oh wow this is so scary to read I’m nt going there I’m going droit which but this does make u think, gosh what has ur co ordinator said about it?? Just so horrible feel sorry for you, we supposed to wake up so happy with our new additions 🙁 shame hope the boobies are making it worth it now xx

i go to see the surgeon tommorrow so will complain to him. it was all down to the night staff she was really nasty. I cryed when i came out it was that bad. hopefully like u said my boobies will make up for it fingers crossed as my last lot what i had in 8 yrs ago the right 1 had capusular contraction or wat ever they call it. just my luck i think. sorry to put a dampener on it :(. hope ur experiences av been better xx

just had a phone call from the nurse i told her about my experience she apologised for parkhill in no way was it anyone elses fault but the staff there on that night. mya team are very nice tho no complaints with them or the surgeon xx

I’ve been twice this year n found it lovely, the staff was really nice, However I’ve read bad ones too so id put a complaint in hun xxx

Aww that’s awful Hun I’m really sorry to hear this I was there 6 weeks ago and couldn’t fault any if the staff day or nite they were lovely and couldn’t do enough but I would put a complaint in because the nurses no matter what should be looking after you not making it a nightmare for you Hun xxx

I found park hill lovely strange…..

i find it strange too cause like i said i went 8 years ago and i was treat like a princess thats why when i read the bad reviews i dodnt believe it. just must av been that the nurse was having a bad day. god nos i just dont want anyone to experience what i did xx
