Has anyone had a partial uplift? I had mine on 9th July. Would love to share experience / recovery?
I had an uplift on one side on 20/7/15 with mr mounir and 350cc implants fitted also. I’m fairly bruised and still a little sore but I’m starting to relax and get my movement back now x
Hi Becca, how are your scars? Around the nipple? Mine are raised and puffy. Wondering if they’re going to stay that way xx
Hi Laura I had an uplift on the 25th July with Mr Kazzazi. How are you feeling?
Oh bless you I’m the same with my left! My right feels so much more comfortable! How strange. Glad to hear you’re healing up well, can’t wait to see mine but nervous about the scarring x
Who was your surgeon Laura? Would you be willing to share some pics of your scars?
I’m having an uplift with Mr Mounir, trying to see as many pictures of his scarring as possible.
Hi, my surgeon was Dr Fiumara. My incisions are really neat and are getting better each day. I don’t have any pics of them as yet so I would only be able to show you them now at 3 weeks PO. I have incisions around the nipple. Are you having a partial or full uplift? xx
Hi Laura, if you don’t mind me asking what size you were before your surgery?
I have my consult on Tuesday and hoping for a partial but worried mine are too big to be a candidate! x
Hi Rosie, I was a 32D before but it was empty, I had weight at the bottom of the breast after having 2 children. My boobs would go huge when pregnant and then disappear within weeks leaving me with skin that I could pull up. I had a partial uplift with 325cc on July 9th. I am currently wearing a 36D sports bra due to swelling. I asked to be a full D. To look the same as wearing a lightly padded bra and that’s exactly what they look like. Still have some swelling to go down and still a bit uncomfortable. xx
I also had Dr Fiumara on 9th July – a benelli mastoplexy and 250/270cc implants. I have pics on my profile.
Hi May, we were there the same day 🙂 how are you getting on? I’ve started to get a real bad back past few days around the sides of the breast and across the back. Have you had very dry skin across the breast and nipples? x
Hi Laura, so far so good. The scars around my nipples are almost non-existent and the swelling has gone down so they don’t look puckered anymore. However, over the last few days I have felt as though I have hot-rods poking in my nipples and have found it difficult to sleep and very uncomfortable to wear a sports bra. However, I figure this is good news as indicates that the nerves are repairing! The first few weeks I had little to no pain and was able to resume normal life quite quickly.
Have you any idea re your sizing? I know that I still have lots of healing to do and dropping and fluffing but wasn’t able to resist trying on some new lingerie. I’ve been measured a 30F! I look like a big D. There’s still quite a bit of dropping to be done though!
How about you? How has your recovery been? When do you see Linda? I’m not seeing her until first week of September, so a while to go.
P.S. Re the dry skin – yes! I’ve been shedding skin but have been applying cocoa butter moisturiser over the last few days. Not only is it helping to moisturise but the cooling sensation is helping massively with the pain.
Hi May,
I see Linda on the 17th August. I have too started having the pain in both nipples which I put down to nerves repairing. My bra has been extra uncomfortable lately too, over the nipple area. I’ve put a little bio oil over the top op the breasts avoiding the scarring at the moment as it still feels tender. My under incisions are perfect, which is good.
I’m not sure on sizing as I to have some swelling and I’m waiting until 6/8 weeks to be measured. They do look a big at the moment, but still have a lot of dropping to do. Every day has been better than the one before, for the pain and the look of the scars.
Keep me posted on your recovery 🙂 xx
