    Hi Tara,
I’ve just had to email my consultant and ask what i’m having cuz I didn’t know! Lol
She said i’m having partials, just under the top layer.. I think if they’re over this creates the more rounded/fake look? Although i’m not entirely sure.. But I’ve stated from the very beginning I really want them to look natural, so I guess that’s what i’m getting and what look the partials creates! Do you know what size you want to go cuz I think this influences it.. I’ll let you know how it goes! 🙂 Xx

Unders and partials are the same thing. They don’t do FULL unders anymore and haven’t for quite some time as it causes a lot of complications with the muscle. The term unders is interchangable with partials and people with use different words to refer to the same thing so it’s a case of partials or overs only. Hope this helps.

    ^ I didn’t know this about partials/unders! Thankyou
In terms of cc only the surgeon can tell you based on what you have! Like how much tissue you have or your frame and stuff. I’ve just been speaking with a girl and we’re both A’s at the moment and want to be DD’s, i’ve been recommended 450cc, but shes been recommended 350cc, big difference between the two!! But she has less breast tissue so can only go over, and i think going over creates more of the ‘fake look’, whereas I have more tissue so guess I can go partial and have bigger implants. Also the surgeon will tell you whats best not just for looks, but for the future. Cuz if you go too big you can get rippling and stuff. When you go for your surgical consultation the surgeon will give you a sports bra to put on and you can try on different size implants to find out whats best for you anyway.
Hope all goes well!! 🙂 Xx

Ladies, just to let you know that if you have none of very little breast tissue than you are more likely to have partials, if you have enough breast tissue then you can have overs. Think Fay got slightly confused in her post above 🙂 Also overs do not necessarily create a fake look and can look very natural, again all depends on the amount of the breast tissue you have.

Even with little tissue overs can still be an option, it is more common to have unders as Karina says, but it’s not just a tissue thing, it also depeands on your skin thickness/elasticity and also the fill of the implant. It’s said women with little tissue shouldn’t go big and shouldn’t get overs or they will look fake and have ripples, totally untrue, I have 615cc extra hp overs, I had no tissue on the left due to mastectomy and was an a cup on the right. I have no ripples, no wrinkles, and I have a very natural slope, everyone is different! I had unders before my overs and had every complication going lol, Implants that have 100% fill of silicone in the shell are less likely to ripple than those with a lower fill you can ask the Dr about this.

Oh sorry ladies! Ignore me then, I was going by what the surgeon told me, that partials will be a more natural look, but I guess I got confused! Thanks all for the clarification! 🙂 Xx
