Partner getting cold feet!

My boyfriend casually mentioned over breakfast this morning that he’s gone off the idea of me getting new boobs! He wasn’t funny about it but did say he was worried incase he didn’t like them.. I was a bit upset by this as obviously it’s a big decision and I’m stressing about every little thing anyway.. my ops in 9 days!! He’s never encouraged me down the road of surgery because he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with my little boobs but has always said if it’s something that bothers me then I should go for it. Its not put me off having it done as I’m doing it for myself and not anyone else but it wasn’t exactly the most reassuring thing that’s ever come out of his mouth! I was just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar from they’re other halves? Did they come around?

My partner didn’t really want me to have mine done he said I didn’t need them and he loved me anyway the way I am but I think they get a bit insercure to be honest he just happy I am happy now I am sure he will come round x

Mine said exactly the same thing – to the point we were on the verge of breaking up! I stood my ground, and now 15 days post op he is alot happier and is actually glad that it has made me so happy! He still says he didn’t think there was anything wrong with my little boobs, but now supports my decision and the reasons I did it x

Mine dicNt think I needed it and even now he says he think they will look good wen settled but not keen at the moment coz they are very stuck on n hard looking, but I don’t care I was Reall nervous the day before I felt sick but honestly the best thing I did n they are no where near wat they will be in a few months, do wats best for u xx

Mine was exactly the same! I was gutted but knew nothing would stop me because it’s what I wanted for myself. Sometimes us women have to be strong on our own and show our men that they can’t make our descisions for us. I think it’s sometimes a bit insecurity and a little bit control. It’s natural instinct for aman to want to protect his partner as well, now I’ve had mine done he says he likes them and glad I’m more confident but will not be too pleased for me incase he bruises his ego!!!
I dunno, why we put up with these men, as they say can’t live with them, can’t live without them x

Thanks ladies! It really caught me of guard when he said it but it appears to be quite common! I suppose they’re on the journey too and are bound to be up and down just like us xxx

@Leigh I think from the previous responses my partner must be an exception lol He can’t wait for me to get them done, I’m going to have to whack him with a stick after I’ve had them done, to keep him away haha. He’s all for self improvement. He loves to look the best he can himself so I think he gets why I want to do it. He wants to show me off as opposed to keep me hidden. All men react differently though and like the other girls say, they’re going on the journey with you too so you have to take that into account. I’m sure he’ll be fine once he sees/feels the benefits 😉 xxx
