PC's leaving…

I went for my first consultation this time last year and my patient coordinator was Laura at the Birmingham clinic. My circumstances changed which meant I was unable to go into a finance agreement with MYA so have had to wait until recently to start again. Seeing as though it had been a year, I wanted another first consultation so rang to arrange one. I then found out Laura had left which I was a little bit shocked at because no one had told me anything about it. Unsure on how I felt about this, I arranged a consultation with the girl who had taken over from Laura called Anne-Marie. After meeting with her three weeks ago and feeling completely re-assured and happy with starting all over again, I rang today to try and get in contact with her only to find out she has left too! I know it’s not the PC’s fault moving jobs and stuff, but I expected some sort of notification of this and it’s actually left me feeling quite abandoned three weeks before surgery!!! Honestly do not know what i’d do without some of you girls on the forum! Sorry for long post, needed to rant haha!

Im in exactly the same position hun! I was with Laura, now Ann-Marie (who i thought was still there) but after seeing this obviously not 🙁 It does make you feel quite alone in the whole process not having a PC and not being kept up to date with any changes, but just know were all here for any questions you have babe 🙂 xxx

I text Ann Marie yesterday and she text back without mentioning she’d left? I’m confused 🙁

Hi girls, I went to birmingham on Monday (13th may) for my consultation with Mr Singh + I asked to see Ann-Marie when I came out + they said she couldn’t see me then because she was in a managers meeting upstairs. Not sure if it’s the same Ann-Marie that u both had. My pc is Wanda now x

My pc has been totally rubbish, basically no contact since I booked. No call before or after and difficult to get hold of if I had questions, don’t even see the point of them. From what I hear mya are particularly bad. My friend went with the hospital group and they were amazing with her x

Chelsey, I rang up the other day and was told she doesn’t work there anymore and then when I went today Amanda (who I’m guessing is my new pc) told me that she was just looking after Anne-Marie’s clients but she seemed to be choosing her wording very carefully so I think she’s just left tbh. After meeting with Amanda today I feel totally at ease again, she’s so nice and really helpful! It probably is the same Anne-Marie, Lizzy. I would have thought so anyway! Amanda my new pc said she had hers done with the Hospital Group too and said they were good Danielle xx
