Period advice

Hi ladies, bit of advice my surgery is Thursday and a little worried as have period pains not due on till the following week but so worried I may come on early, will I have to rearrange my surgery date if I come on ???????? xx

No, having a period won’t stop your surgery as it’s already a question I’ve asked so don’t worry. My nurse said if you do come on, just to let them know and I they give you a sanitary towel to wear in surgery x

When she asked me ‘do you have any questions?’ That was the only one I asked haha. Apparently it use to be a thing and stopped them doing it but it just isn’t the case anymore. Good luck with the surgery, bet you can’t wait! Mines June 27th feels ages away xx

I got my period the day of my surgery. It’s ok to wear a pad but no tampons x
