    Hi girls ,
Just wondering what others have been told about piercings as I have quite a few and acrylic nails for surgery were you allowed to keep piercings in or change to plastic ? And could you keep nails on without varnish or not ?
    Thankss xx

    Hey.
This is what is written in my surgery guide:
“• PLEASE REMOVE all false eyelashes and nails, makeup and piercings before your admission to hospital

• Hair extensions will need removing if they contain any form of metal or copper
”

You also aren’t allowed to wear any polish on finger nails or toes.

I think I’ve read other threads on the forum about wearing a plastic retainer for the op and from what I remember you can’t.

They covered my belly button with plastic tape
No nail varnish they need to see your nail colour during surgery
    Good luck 🙂 xx
