Looks fab where’s it’s from? I’ve seen a lot of people using the back rest from Argos for the bed, with a v pillow x

Hi Jessica and Gabrielle. Its from House of bath, bargain too as reduced from £24.99 to £9.99, £4.90 postage. I do think it looks pretty good. I know people like the V cushions but this looks to offer more lower back support. I’m really worried about having poor sleep post op as I’m dreadfully narky if I am tired next day. Lol. Xx

I bought the foam pillow wedge to use but that alone would only keep me at 45 degree angle. I’m dreading the sleeping bolt up right, how long do we have to do that for? Xxxx

Nikki , I am dreading it as I can only sleep on my sides, I’ve heard that you have to sleep upright 6 weeks! if not it can affect how the implants settle. xx

I bought this to help with sitting up in an armchair. If anything it gave me back ache. I resorted to bringing my v pillow downstairs and used that during the day aswell as the night x

I’ve got my v pillow left over from pregnancies, this cushion and a million pillows. I’m hoping that will be sufficient! I know my recovery will be slightly different as I’m having a TT too, which if anything like a csection, won’t be fun combined with a BA. Haha!

Aww your soo brave Hun I’d love a tt but I couldn’t go thru the pain of one I’m such a whimp lol I can’t deal with pain very well st the best of times I’ve been quite lucky with my ba and had a good recovery soo far xxx

I’m hoping this will be easier than a csection as I won’t have to recover from having a baby, then dealing with a newborn as well as healing from surgery. That’s what I’m telling myself anyway so I don’t chicken out. Haha!

@sylvianna I didn’t get on with it ! I have hardly used it. I found the best pillow to be a memory foam V (got to be memory foam! ) I got mine from Matalan for £19.99. I bought the bedrest too from Argos …again didn’t suit me (I know a lot of ladies love it). One little tip I found useful was to put a pillow each side of you( snug to arm pits and sides ) when you go to lay flat stage ,it just takes pressure off shoulders a little with the boobs still been tender etc.. the sleep sitch overall is pretty tough but you just have to find your own way of finding some comfort , I found it very difficult first 2 weeks xx

@pearl500 Your V pillow sounds like it beats mine in terms of comfort, then! haha and omg that’s such a great tip! thank you! sleeping on back is the worst for sure, so I will try that, as I start flat-back sleeping this sat xxx

@sylvianna here’s a little doodle of my set up ! The pillow my head is on is memory foam , helps support neck more. As you can see my pillow stash has taken over the super king bed, my hubby has had to move to spare bedroom ! Lol xx

I’ve just bought this for my BA in November. Need to find a good v pillow to team up with it I think. Are the memory foam ones better?
