Didn’t do it before but I’m POD8 and eating pineapple daily. Fruits good as I have zero appetite at the moment so it’s easy to eat. I’ve been getting arla protein yoghurts too to help with muscle repair, having it with kiwi and fruits high in vitamin C as I read vitamin C helps with the absorption of protein. God knows if it’s working but it’s making me feel better so I don’t care!x

Arnica is supposed to be really good for swelling and bruising. I started taking arnica tablets a few days before surgery, I did have some swelling but I had absolutely zero bruising xx

I heard arnica was good too, haven’t used it though there was only so many tablets I could take and was already taking antibiotics, cocodamol, paracetamol, ibuprofen and promethazine to sleep! Only a little bruising and it’s almost gone now.

Ive told my 5 year old I had a bad back Laura and he’s mostly kept away, a couple of knocks by accident but nothing to worry about. Worst part is not being able to hug them properly or tuck them in!x
