places to stay near highgate

anyone suggest anywhere?X

I’m nt sure but my co ordinator sent me a email of all the hotels near he hospital, but I just put postcode in late Rooms and they all came up to, but I chose travel lodge coa I’ve slept in there bed before and they all pretty the same, and the last thing I wanted was an uncomfortable bed so I booked with them lol and it was super cheap 50 for 2 nights and only 1mile away xx

If u put in thhosptal postcode in travellodge website it shut bring up match’s the postcode for hospital shud b on the little booklet they gave u if they gave one to u x

yeah im wondering whether to travel half way home and get a hotel though (still within the 50 miles/) as then its less to travel the next day!

Oh lol soz I was just told if I wanted a day case I had to stay within 5 miles of hospital in case anything happened over night, so that I wat I did, I only live 78 miles from hospital x

Oh i dont know then ive been told by my pc and pre op nurse that It’s a 50 mile radius that you can stay. I know it is annoying as I only live 80 miles away too! Just want to go home ha x

Hehe my oh drive me home 135 miles straight from hospital.

I am staying in the holiday inn express which is about 5-10 mins away from Highgate and fairly cheap too.
Some girls I seen on here went straight home after and travelled up to 2hours. Depends how you feel etc
If you live on 80miles away, i think traveling home be fine – means you can go to your own bed which i think would be nice after surgery!

i know well i was planning to go home – surgeon said i could and then at my pre op the nurse said absolutely no way and that id basically be breaking my terms and conditions if i did?!
Thing is is that no one mentioned the hotel to me at all until now…4 weeks before op !!! x
