Please help

Please can someone advise me what happens in a Pre-Op with the nurse?
Will it include blood tests and things? Xx

Mine was blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, mrsa swabs, medical history x

I’ve got mine next week and was wondering the same thing! X

If you’re generally fit and well, you won’t have to have a blood test. You have your height and weight taken, blood pressure, swabs from armpit and nostril and they ask your medical history. They take your before pics too xx

They take blood to check your iron levels if it’s down they won’t but put you under xx

Is that on the day of the op? Xx

All of the above, I had bloods as well though because I take medication, but if you’ve got no other health issues you may not need theM! xxx

My nurse at bristol took blood as it indicates infection aswel as you can not have surgery with risk of infection, as well done blood pressure and asked some questions xx
