I’m 4 weeks post op and have my post op with my nurse in 2 weeks so trying not to panic too much, but I’ve had this swollen band of skin underneath both boobs since day 1 after my op, it’s obviously the bit of skin between the incision and where my old fold under my boob used to be, but as it’s been 4 weeks and it’s still there I am starting to worry 🙁 has anyone else had this after their op and then it goes down?? I’m trying to be patient as it does just seem like swelling and not double bubble or anything like that but any advice or before & after pictures of you girls who have had a similar thing would really help! X

@tb123 I had a little scare at my 4 week mark, i had like shadows on my boobs from a front view and from a side view it looked like the lower part of my boobs were lower down like yours, not quite even. It may just be your natural crease line. I’m 7wpo now and they are fine. What do they look like from a front view? Xx

@jodiexs yes that’s what mine look like! From the front it’s not quite as noticeable it just looks like I have a slight shadow, it’s from the side you can really tell, and it’s definitely my natural crease line it looks like my normal boob is floating on a band of skin haha! That makes me feel lots better that yours went down though, were they like that from day 1? It does sound so much like double bubble it’s hard not to get too worried 🙁 xx

@tb123 I only noticed mine week 4ish but it had me ill, some of the girls said it looks like my natural crease so I tried not to look at them for a week. I did take photos but I was to paranoid looking at them so had to delete them haha. It’s all such a worry isn’t it!! Xx

My surgeon has already shown me pics like this as said I will have this and will smooth out after 8weeks ish …
I have to have the implant pushed below the crease (he called it a crease release) as I have one appt higher than the other !! Maybe he just didn’t tell you he was doing that !??

I think ill have this too. Because like Stacey i have one that sits lower than the other but not bigger than the other.. which is normally sorted out by different size implants. X

That doesn’t look right to me but I’m no doctor. It looks similar to double bubble or the other thing you can get when it’s not inserted right. I think you should make an appointment straight away, you should also be able to send pictures to your nurse or surgeon who will advise you. Good luck hopefully it’s nothing to worry about.

@staceyleighhunt88 @kitkat81 oh that’s such a relief!! Thank you so much ladies I think it is just my old crease, I’m just going to wait until my 6 weeks post op and see what the nurse says then 🙂
