please help girls:-(

I had my BA two weeks tomorrow but had to have a re-augmentation this Tuesday on my right breast due to hematoma, I’m really freaking out now because my right one is looking a lot bigger than the left and that was the tell tale sign I had a hematoma last time?! I have no pain this time round though which is my only hope I’m clinging onto… ANYWAY what I’m asking is does the swelling go down after the two week point? I’m praying that the size difference is because one is two weeks old and the other only 4 days old so catching up? Please someone enlighten me as I’m terrified and thinking of ringing the emergency number 🙁 xx

Hey Kirsty, considering what you’ve been through i would ring the emergency number to be safe and to put your mind at rest. Fingers crossed for you girl!!! xx

Thank you hun, I want to but I don’t even know what they can say apart from wait until your post op check! I’m crying so much I’m terrified of going through this all again! I was so excited for this whole experience and it’s been nothing but a total nightmare:( xx

I’m sure you’ll be fine but just remember what you’ve paid for and how good they’ve been so far. Call the emergency number just to put your mind at rest. I’m sure they’d rather you did. I’m also sure that you’re right about the swelling. The side of your second operation has been through major trauma; two operations and the clotting. It’s going to be very swollen while your other side is healing all the time.

Thanks so much for the reassurance Angela! X I’m feeling a bit more positive today but can’t stop checking over them it’s such an awful feeling and pray no other lady has to go through this stress it is an emotional roller coaster! My PO check is on Tuesday and I have no pain so I’m going to ring my nurse tomorrow just to get her opinion until I see her the next day. All I’m thinking is there is nothing I can do so what’s the point in worrying but its easier said than done! Thanks so much xx
