PLEASE READ!! 12 days left until my ba and tummy tuck.with Mr tray ore (25th August)

I know I’ve posted about 200 times , but my nerves are getting the better of me now. I’m starting to panic and I’m starting to think I don’t want the op because of the after struggles. Is this normal to feel this? It’s more my tummy tuck that’s worrying me , as it takes so long to heal . Is there anyone on here that has had ba and tt who have had young children to look after? I have a 5 and 1 year old .
How much restriction will there be?

How long won’t I be able to do everyday activities? I start college 8th September and can’t miss it. Will I be okay to sit and study by then?
Am I being unrealistic?
What do I need to pack to take? In staying overnight!!!

Hey Hun, it’s normal to go through this process! I know I had a mini panic the week before my surgery but j am really glad I went through with it! I had over the muscle implants and j was okay after day 4 after surgery, but I was just a tad slower at doing things.. I can’t comment on the tummy tuck thou as haven’t had one! But I have a friend who had one who said she was okay after a week! Xxxxx

Hey Chelsea are u still booked in for 25th??? They tried to change my day from 25th to 26th but it’s impossible for me to swap on such short notice xxxx

Hi, I had them both done at the same time, not sure if you added me yet. I won’t lie to you it will be hard recovery. You plan to go to college 2 weeks after? What did the surgeon say? I would say you won’t be able to look after your children for those 2 weeks. You’ll find you normally use the tummy muscle for everything and to compensate you will need support in your arms which you won’t have after BA. It’s not pretty. You really need to lower your expectations:( I feel for you, you will need help.
I don’t mean to scare you, believe me it’s all worth it. Let me know if you have any questions I’m happy to help anyway I can. If you live in Bristol I can even meet you:)

Yesterday My appointment was moved from 25h to 26th , chelsea I’m guessing you will be staying in for a night or 2 at least so may still see you there Carly are you staying in or are you a day case? X x

Thanks guys. I’m really nervous and worried about after the op now . As i don’t have much support with my children’s father as he works full time and has his own business so can’t get time off. I have family members that will chip in so hopefully I’ll get enough help. @charlie2530 @carlysexton I’m still on for 25th and waiting for my admission time!! Are you guys excited ? Have you got everything?

@yana could you tell me the main things I need for the hospital overnight stay and the things I need for when I’m gone please xx
