Hi everyone.
So I’ve grown increasingly concerned about my left breast. It was always the more painful , sensitive , harder breast. On the two week post op when my dressings was removed I noticed the crease straight away but just presumed it was all healing. I’m now nearly 5 weeks post op and although it’s softened the crease is still very apparent. Please tell me what you think it is ? Guilty of not doing research enough but read about bottoming out, double bubble, and capsular contracture. But don’t know the characteristics of any. I will try to add pics but it never lets me. So please please can someone just click on my pics it’s not private and write back to be here? Thanks girls xxxxx
Both breasts have the crease just the left is more prominent xxx
No expert but does look like double crease (or double bubble as we’d say). Have you spoken to your pic/sent pics? X
Hi Martina, just looked at your pics so sorry your having these issues, have you spoken to your nurse? You need to send her some pictures so she can forward them to your surgeon, it’s impossible for us to know, we all learn about these problems by researching online and comparing images (and from an image point of view it does look like double bubble) but you need to be examined to rule out Capsular Contracture when you are experiencing pain, obviously something is not right and you need to be reassured, please call your clinic if you haven’t allready, good luck and let us know how you get on xxx
(P.s for future reference if you always struggle to post pictures then dowload piccolage app to your phone and use the ‘grid’ it reduces file size and makes it easier to upload them)
Hi girls , thank you so much for taking the time to not just reply but to look a thing my pics as well. I have phoned the clinic and going to see the nurse on Friday. The more I’ve read online the more it’s clear I shouldn’t have a double crease. Which is visible in both breasts but more so on the left. As I said I noticed it from 12 days post op when I had dressings removed. But now I’m concerned. I had overs 350cc taking surgeons advice on Placement and size. 🙁
Thank you Claudine!!! I have attached this mornings pic which shows the creases in both breasts a bit clearer xxx
I know it’s very easy for me to say but try to remain positive, it’s so distressing when this type of thing appears to have gone wrong it’s your body at the end of the day and as a female your ability to feel femminine can define who you are (im going through huge worries with mine at the moment and waiting to see my surgeon so i know where you are in your head) but it’s great news your going to see the nurse on friday! Ultimately your health is THE most important thing at the minute so getting to see her should put your mins at rest to some extent and help you emotionaly, none of us are going to tell you ‘there’s nothing to worry about’ after seeing your images but were certainly not qualified to tell you what it is or isn’t, the waiting game is awful but certainly there are cases where a breast appearing like this in early stages has filled back out over time with the dropping process and weight of the implant, the fluffing up so to speak can iron out the crease over time (i only know this as i read a case on realself yesterday!) So try to keep that in mind until you see your surgeon, i soooo hope that is the case for you i really do, it’s such a shame, i honestly hope this does sort it’s self out because your initial post pictures are stunning! Realy lovely shape and size for your frame and very natural looking, let us know how you get on Martina xxx
Hope you get on well! Yes, keep us updated xxx
Hi ladies , so I went to see nurse yesterday, she said she didn’t think it was double bubble and that it just needs time to settle. I really disagree. She sent the pics to mr Traynor who also said thins just need to settle down. So yep wait and see. I’m hoping they are right. Just this left breast dosent seem happy to me at all. But what can I do they are paid for now no one gives a toss x
