PO day 4, finally starting to feel a bit better?

Hey girls,

Just a little up date. I’m post op day 4 now and this is the first time today that I’ve actually felt ok. I’ve been really struggling with my recovery so far and was surprised at how much pain and discomfort I was in. I was taking the maximum dosage of cocodamol I could for the first 2 days and it seemed to be doing nothing for me. I changed over to paracetamol and ibuprofen on day 3 and I think as the ibuprofen is a anti inflammatory it’s been helping with the swelling. Today I feel ok and not in too much pain or discomfort so far which is lovely. I’ve been staying in bed as long as I can possibly manage to try and sleep it off and just taking things easy.
I work in a salon so tomorrow I’m planning on getting my hair washed (it’s filthy!?) and getting my lash extensions put back on and my nails done.
On Tuesday it will be my one week check up and I get to have my strapping removed which I can not wait for!! So far in regards to aftercare I was called by my nurse on Wednesday and she had a long chat with me about everything. Other than that I haven’t heard anything but to be honest I’m happy in the fact I have the number to call if I need it. I am quite disappointed that I’ve heard nothing from my pc. The last email I sent her was a few days before my op and she never replied. She hasn’t contacted me since which is disappointing as I thought they wished you luck with the op and checked up on you afterwards etc. Although I don’t actually need anything it would still have been nice to have heard from her but oh well! I shall mention it on my next appointment.
Anyway I have attached a pic to this post. You can’t really tell what they are going to look like as they are completely squished by the strapping but I think they look big in width and height but not really boob shaped because of this strapping. Can’t wait to see them in a few days! X

How have you been finding sleeping up? Glad your starting to feel better were you sick at all? Your boobs look like a great shape and size already xx

Sleeping has actually been ok. I wake up when I’ve moved in the night but I can normally get back to sleep ok. I wasn’t sick at all which was good. Thank you hun. I am pleased with what I can see so far just can’t wait for this strapping to come off. It’s like having a surprise present that you can’t open!! Xx

Ah glad your feeling a bit better now. I remember reading your posts before your op and you reminded me exactly of how I am feeling lol so it’s not as bad as you thought would you say? I’m absolutely petrified that it’s taking over any excitement lol. That’s nice of the nurse, the nurse I saw was so lovely she helped me out so much and had so much time for me. Bit of a shame about your PC though, they must be so busy keeping up with everyone but I have seen a lot of girls saying they wished them luck so I see where your coming from. Enjoy tomorrow getting all hour treatments xx
