PO girls-numbness!?!?

So I’m two weeks PO and my boobs are still completely numb, did any other girls experience this and if so when did you get the feeling back?! It’s panicking me a little! xx

I can feel my right and not my left it’s soooo weird I can knock things and not even feel it or if I am in the shower and I knock my nipple with my arm I’m like what the hell as that lol xx I hope u get the feeling bk I’m post op 11 days

I’m nearly 6 weeks post op and I still can’t feel anything from the bottom of my nipples down. I’m hoping it will be back to normal soon x

8 weeks po ad i cant feel my nipples and nearly an inch around them 🙁

Im 7 weeks post up and im numb below my nipples.

Ahh thanks so much for replying girls.
It is the weirdest feeling ever, I can’t bring myself to cream them because of it!
It does make me feel better that it’s not just me though. Does anybody know if it’s just one of the risks or will we get the feeling back? xx

6 weeks post op almost and still got numbed nipples and around it too feels slightly numb,

I was asking my nurse about the numbness today and she said if you cant feel anything after 6 months its unlikley you’ll get feeling back. I really wasnt happy about that as the doctor didnt explain this. He just briefly said its unlikley i’ll lose feeling completley and i’ll still be able to breastfeed. I’d really quite like nipple sensitivity at some point!! That was probly the only decent thing about my boobs pre-op. Sorry for oversharing lol

Ahh it’s pretty scary, I would hate it if it doesn’t come back and by the sounds of if I’ve got a long way to go! x

Yeah my mum warmed me about this, she has had hers years and has no feeling in nipple, for me I just thought well what do I need the feeling for anyway… I had absolutely no enjoyment out of it before because I hates having them out or being touched where I disliked them so much, if my bf tried I dreaded it x
