I’ve been out in my car today, didn’t drive far, but I really struggled with driving! I couldn’t steer very well and I couldn’t go into 5th gear or reverse. I’m also completely exhausted now even though I didn’t go far. Is this normal by this stage??
I was also wondering how long it will take for my boobs to start to drop as they are driving me mad being so high! Thanks girls xx

Omg Lizzie I’ve just drove for about 5 minutes for the first time and I completely understand, I had to pull over and got my dad to get me. I’m nearly 3 weeks post op so I’m wondering when I will be able to drive without feeling restricted. Xx

Thanks Lauren! I had 350 hp unders 😊

Paige I’m glad it’s not just me! I thought I’d be fine but I felt really unsafe! I go back to work in 5 days so I’m really hoping I’ll be ok by then xx

It’s so annoying I thought their was something wrong with me cuz I was reading so many posts of girls that were like a week post opp and felt fine I’m 6 weeks today and still haven’t got a lot of strength in my arms but feel so much better 🙂 did you ask ur nurse about a beast band? X

Yeah I read a lot of posts too, some people seem completely fine so I thought I’ll be fine too!
I really need to gain the strength back in my arms quickly because I’m a hairdresser so I’m always using my arms!
Yes I did, she said they don’t recommend them at all and the best thing to do is let them drop naturally instead of forcing them x

I think that’s really early after an op to use your muscles like that.. Having unders is quite a lot of trauma to your muscles so I would really recommend taking it easy to let them heal.
My nurse said to me as I had unders and I am so small I should still be resting a lot and I am nearly 3 weeks post op. Still don’t have much use of my arms at all haha! xx

Probably best not to then if she doesn’t recommend it they will get their its just horrible having to be patient I have just uploaded some pics if you want to have a look they have dropped loads and look really natural now I think x

That’s strange as I saw my nurse 8 days post op and she said I’m fine to start driving and try to do normal activities but obviously nothing too much. The main thing I’m worried about is going back to work and how I’m going to cope xx

Nice work Lizzie. You will get there, baby steps. Not sure if you are using ice packs much. But whenever i go out for a while or drive for a long time i get home and just sit and put ice packs on to help the recovery. Seems to be helping me. Xx
