POD16 and problem with sports bras fitting

Since day 12 ive been having a problem with my sports bras they are all digging into my skin across my boobs and at the sides. Is this just because of swelling or do I need to get bigger bras ? Ive spent quite abit since my op trying to get comfy bras but they all seem to dig in or don’t give enough support .. Can anyone recommend anywhere to get them from ? ive got some from m&s and and one from jd sports yesterday but still they are digging in 🙁 makes them sore and itchy. Thanks in advance ladies 🙂 xx

I went to Debenhams and got fitted for a Shock Absorber Ultimate Run bra, I practically live in it since a week post op lol! Whatever you chose, you defo need to be fitted for it xx

Yes trace is right! I bought lots of bras but my shock absorber is the best, I bought mine in a 36gg… The size I wanted to be and it was a bit too tight when my swelling was bad but it supported well and now it fits perfect, but definitely get measured for one of they will do it for you, m&s wouldn’t measure me because I didn’t have dressings on whilst healing so I’d advise to put some on for your measuring, they can sometimes worry about scabs xxx

@Brunette800 Thanks hun il have a look there. My incisions are healed no scabs now but might take some cotton wool pads just to be sure while im trying them on. I bought a shock absorber from a catalogue 34dd but it feels too tight now will have to pop in debenhams. How are you now how many weeks po ? xx

Hey chick I agree with Trace and Brunett800 ive always had shock ab with my ops you need to fitted up for it I think the one you need is 36D /38D for the bigger band xx

I’m okay, my scars still need to full heal as one opened in the middle , I’m planning on keeping cotton wool in bra bras Lisa on here told me that’s what she did 🙂 I’m 6 Weeks now, but my scar on my right boob only seem like a few weeks but my left is a bit red in parts xxx

@Sammy Are your scars sore because they’ve came open ? What did they do for you for your open scar do they glue it ? xx
