Hey Ladies.
Are there any ladies that do upper strenth building in anyway, that have had their implants placed paritally under the muscle? I do pole dancing which I have to use a lot of upper body strength. Someone recently said to me about the muscle pinching the implant or distorting it, has anyone found this? Any advice greatful 🙂 x
Still pre op so not much help but I was told by my surgeon he wouldn’t advise placing the implant under the muscle if you do upper body at the gym as the muscles will move the placement of the implant. Not too sure about partials though xx
Owww I was scared someone was going to say that 🙁 I so want the implant under the muscle but I really don’t want the implant being deformed or causing discomfort when I eventually go back to pole after my op. I don’t know why I didn’t mention my pole dancing in my consultation. I go back to see my surgeon when I have my pre op on the 4th March but now when I mention my pole this time, he may say overs. What size are you currently? and what size implants are you having? Are you happy with having overs or did you want unders? x
@kikij87 Hey Kristina. Thank you very much for your message, this is reassuring! I am not worried what they look like when I am actually training as I’ll have a sports bra and you can’t see them, I am just worried about strengthening the muscle that much and then deforming them. Thanks again, your message was reassuring, specially when your trainer has hes done 22 years ago!! That’s a long time to build strength and muscle. Hope you are recovering well xx
Same! As long as there’s no deformation I’m happy. I would however mention it to your surgeon so he can advise you better. My revovery has been good, it is quite painful not gonna lie but so worth it in the end 🙂 Are you excited about yours?xxx
Well, you will hear both sides of the story, but mine are partials/Unders and having had strong muscles before – one has never dropped and I need revision surgery. Have a look. That’s 400cc unders. It’s the same thing as partials nowadays as no one puts them fully under. I also find it painful to do any upper body exercise, any weight on them hurts.
I’m having 400cc unders as I don’t do much upper body (mainly legs and bum and about of arms never chest) so my surgeon said I would be fine with unders. I would defo mention it and see what he thinks Xx
It depends how hard I try and push myself. I can only barely manage 5 push-ups and even that on my knees. The right one which isn’t dropped hurts more, it sometimes gives me sharp pains from inside towards the nipple, and even underneath. It’s weird. I am waiting for the head office to decide on my revision case. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks now..:(
Don’t panic too much about not having told them yet. I changed on the day of my op to over the muscle as he suggested it was better than under for my situation!!! I don’t know regarding pole fitness, but don’t worry you have time to sort it xxx
@kikij87 I am definitely gong to mention it to him when I go for my pre-op. I am very excited about my boobs but I am a feeling a tiny bit deflated at the minute…I wanted under, not any point of my journey have I thought about overs…I am very slim so I don’t want them looking too fake…weird on my little frame. Owww! You mind if I add you? Are you loving you new boobs? x
@ariel Sorry to hear about yours and that you’ve been waiting 2 weeks to hear about the re-op. I am having the same as you 400cc unders. I can’t have them hurting what you say either 🙁 x
@jessicamessenger How comes you decided to change yours to over? What size did you have? Are you loving them? This muscle thing has definitely thrown me, I had never even considered overs and then I start to research this exercise subject and am now thinking unders aren’t for me but I don’t think overs will look good on my skiny frame x
Basically I had asymmetry and on reflection my surgeon said he was concerned the muscles would pin the implants down too much and not allow them to drop into place so that they match. He said I will still have some asymmetry but a lot more likely to even out with overs. So for me it was a no brainer, I trust his opinion so I went with overs. Xxx
Sorry! I had 375cc HP overs 🙂 absolutely love them, I have pics up if you wanted to look xx
@lr666 aww don’t worry yourself too much, concentrate on the positives babe! I’ve done years of research (took me 4 years and many surgeon consultations to finally get them done) and wrote all the pros and cons before op and the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I’m very happy with mine so far and genuinely think it’s the best thing I have ever done xxx
@jessicamessenger I am the same as you having my done with Dr Mounir and at Nottingham. Dr Mounir said unders first to me but thats because I did’t mention my pole, I don’t know why I didn’t think it was significant but I do now! I will see what he says on the 4th March. However, I know they will better unders as that’s what he first suggested and what I was hoping for. But pole meants a lot to me. I have had a look at yours photos and yours look lovely! How long ago did you have them done? Has your recovery been quite easy with them being overs? He has offered me 350/375/400 cc. I said I would allow him to pick on the day which ones suited my frame the most xx
@jessicamessenger hope you don’t mind the add!xxx
@kikij87 Thanks chicky! I know, I will see Dr Mounir on the 4th and see what he says what he suggests, I am so happy with my surgeon decision already that I know he will be tell me the right thing to do. Yours look lovely!! And such a transformation, I can see why you are so happy! xx
Thanks Hun, you won’t be disappointed by Mounir, he is fantastic! See What he says with your pole fitness, but trust him and his advice, honestly! He knows absolutely everything there is to know and is so so thorough too, leaves nothing to chance. Ooooo I’m excited for you haha! Such an exciting stage. My recovery started out rubbish, I’ve had a few cries and been really emotional :’) haha it’s a rollercoaster, but I’m over the worst now, day 3/4 were the worst days for me. Xxx
@jessicamessenger Awww so glad you are so happy and I know Dr Mounir is a good choice, I am really confident about him, I just got that right feeling and his work is very tidy. I am so excited to get them done, it can’t come quick enought, just under 7 weeks and definitely counting! I can imagine it is emotional, so happy you are out the other side now with nothing but happy changes to come! They really do look great, keep us up to date with your progress, would love to see how they change 🙂 xx
Thanks sweetie I will do! Every few days I will pop a photo up :):) the incisions are so small and neat, he’s known for that! approaching day 10 now and it gets better each day I can safely say! Only on paracetamol once or twice a day now :):) good luck hun it will come soon enough xxx
Yeah, I’m quite disappointed. They got back to me with one offer after 2 weeks. If I want them bigger I will have to pay full price again, which is not the point at all! I don’t care for the size when I obviously need revision. But funnily enough, after “revising” my case I still haven’t got an answer on the original option where the surgeon has clearly stated he is waving his fees. So what are they playing at?
It seems that God forbid things are going wrong- it won’t be straight forward for you.
Hey sweet, I just had mine done and same as Jess went for over and sooo soo happy! Recovery is very easy so far, I lift every day and couldn’t bring myself to the idea they would have to cut through the muscle. Would defintiely go with overs otherwise I think it is a big gable.. @ariel, I’m so sad you’re still having problems with your revision, hope they sort if for you soon xx
Thank you. The thing is I’ve never said a bad word about the company. But they seem to be letting me down now. Need to dig out the paperwork and see what actually the process is. If any.
I know, youve been so patient just surprised things haven’t progressed quicker for you. Sorry for the typos by the can’t seem to hit the right buttons today …xx
@figureclass Hey chicky. How’s your recovery going? Glad to hear you are loving your new assests, seriously can’t wait to get mine. Did you tell your surgeon that you lift before you had the surgery done? What size were you before you had them done? xx
Aw thanks! Haha yeah.. not bad, feel a bit sicky from the meds but good otherwise, I did! It’s such a big part of my lifestyle and even though I haven’t benched in almost two years now (I knew I wanted unders), pecs are engaged in so many other things – sprinting, raises, climbing. I was an A, I’m in a DD sports bra at the moment but it’s quite loose so hoping the end result will be a D once the swelling goes down 🙂 xx
@figureclass I thought you needed more boob to start with to have overs otherwise you have more chance of the implant being visable…was you not worried about this? That’s what I’m worried about with having overs but I don’t want my boobs (if I have unders) to stop me from going back to pole as I will as soon as I am able. Pole is a massive part of my life but I want my dream boobs. Do you mind if I add you? xx
I started training and lifting weights a year ago as I’ve never bothered with fitness before. I’m thinking about getting unders as I want to have natural looking breast but worried that it might stop me from being able to lift. What would anyone suggest? xx
