So since the birth of my little boy two years ago and 3 months of breast feeding my boobs were awful so after a lot of research I went for a consultation at MYA in liverpool, I felt very at ease and didn’t feel any pressure to book straight away, so I booked in for my pre op with Mr Traynor who was lovely and was straight talking which I liked :), after meeting him I booked my surgery for 4th November and paid my deposit. My pre op was fine too all went well and I paid the rest of my surgery, 4 days before surgery the nurse rang and told me my admission time and if I had any questions. On the day I travelled to Preston with my parents, my admission time was 12 but I got there 10 mins early, I was shown to my room and asked to change into my gown and paper knickers lol, the nurse then said she would be back in 10 mins! After an hour she came back and did my paperwork, then a man came in saying he was going to be putting me to sleep and went over more paperwork, shortly after this another man came in to check my chest and do more paper work , then Mr Traynor came in drew on me and asked if I had any questions, about 15 mins later a lady came in told me to put some stockings on and that I was going down next the time then was 3 o clock (3 hours after admission) , the nurse was lovely and was talking to me about holidays while I was being put to sleep, when I woke I couldn’t remember much and was upset as no one was there so she got my phone for me and helped me ring my mum lol, the nurses were so caring and helpful and really put me at ease about everything!! They said if I wanted to I could stay over night as I was quite sick but I just wanted to go home! The ride home was fine (took just over an hour!) but the next day I was so sick and could not keep anything down! The nurse rang to see how i was and said if i didnt feel any better by Friday to give them a ring! But I’ve woke up this morning feeling so much better and managed to eat all meals! 🙂 hopefully the next week will get better!

Hi Rebecca. I just added you, hope you don’t mind. We must have been at the hospital together on Tuesday, in fact I think you must have gone straight after me as I went down for my surgery just after 2pm. How are you feeling? x
