Post op appointment

hey girls,
well ive got my post op appointmet on wednesday in manchester. i was just wondering do we have our dressings changed and have new ones put on, or does the nurse not apply another one?
also, is this the only post op check up we get??

i was naughty and took my dressings off b4 my appointment cos they were really irritating, wen i went she just checked them and didnt apply any more dressing. yoou can be seen as many times as u want, u only have to ring up and amanda will see you no problem

iv ur worried about anything just call them and they will either answer u over the phone or ask u if u want to come in. i have delt with amy and she is fabulous dont worry

Hi Sarah
I had my dressings off on Wednesday..and she just checked my incisions (can’t believe how quick they heal!!!)
She then put some tiny “steri-strips” i think they are called?! and i take them off myself after they’ve been on a week.
Then she booked me for a post op appointment with my surgeon for 6 weeks after
I guess it’s different for every clinic if karen didn’t have any more on?!?!
