Post op bra advice?

I’m 6 weeks post op, I only ever take my post op bra off in the shower, three times for nights out for a few hours. I wear it every night and every day to work, when did everyone stop wearing theirs so frequently? I’m happy to wear it but in this heat would be nice to not be sweating all the time! Xx

At 6weeks you can wear most normal bras, go bra less etc & more or less do as you wish, however although I wear normal bras and go braless on the odd occasion I always wear my post op bra to bed, this was just suggested from my surgeon xx

I’m in the same boat! I’m 6 weeks next Monday, and cannot wait to get out of my post op bra. They’re just so uncomfortable, especially in this heat! However, I don’t think my boobs are quite ready for a regular bra as they’re still sore.

Oh that’s great thankyou girls!! I’m going to get measured today, so can hopefully buy some normal bras!! There just so thick and sweaty, I’m not sore anymore but wonder if a wired bra will irritate my scars? So may just put some tape on the if they do xx
