Hi all! Been very confused re lost op bras – a lot of people seem to use different from Macom and I just want to be sure I am doing the right thing! I think I’ll get a macom for night time and when swelling goes down and a few pairs of m&s high impact sports bras as they seem to be popular with everyone! 🙂

Going forward long term – Iv never been one to really pay attention to supportive bras as Iv always been an A cup so jut bought £2 primark everyday bras. But now I’m looking to go to a full C small D I’m guessing I have to pay more attention to the support im giving my chest to keep them perky and not sag over time!!!

Does anyone wear supportive every day bras – if so from where please?! And obviously some nice treat type bras!

I’m also terrible to take my bra off immediately after getting home –
Is this stil something I can do?! Or should I constantly support my new beasts? Even 12 -18 – 24 months down the line?

I’m also hoping that my hopefully lovely new chest will encourage me to go bra less in some dresses as I have found with my flat chest now I have never felt sexy so can’t wait to buy some lovely dresses!

Sorry for the long winded post but would really appreciate advice and pics if possible please! Thanks ladies xxxx

    Hey.
I’m just over 6 weeks but not yet wearing wired bras. My recommendation is to regularly go and get measured after 6 weeks at a couple of places (M&S, Ann Summers, Victoria Secret, Boux Avenue) so that you know you are buying the correct size bra, therefore you are getting the correct support.
My post op bras have been things like a Calvin Klein sports bra as my surgeon doesn’t like Macom or High Impact sports bras as if they’re too tight they can displace the implant. I’ve also been wearing seamless crop tops which are lovely and comfy. I have two sets of two, both have one black and one white and one was £14 from M&S and the other £5 from Primark. Out of the two I would recommend the Primark one as it’s more supportive and has a nice thick band.
I asked my surgeon about whether I will need to wear an bra to bed for the foreseeable for support and she said no because my implants will have fixed into position after 6 weeks. Based on this I would say that you are okay to go braless once you’ve been given the all clear but it’s probably best to double check.
    Xx
