    Hello,

I am 1 week and 2 days post op, just have a few questions for anyone who is further post op.

Did you wear a sports bra 24/7 for the whole 6 weeks?
Did you ever go for a night out without the sports bra?

I’m finding it really hard to wear my clothes without the sports bra showing, this doesn’t matter majority of the time but just thinking about having a night out and wanting to wear certain clothes. Any advice/opinions please? 🙂

Hiya hun. I’m 9 weeks post op and I wore my sports bra every day I went out quite alot too but wore jumpsuits or high neck dresses. I’d Deffo stick to what your surgeon advises. I got my first wireless bra at 6 weeks as bras with wire for the first 10 weeks can damage the implant. I still sleep in a sports bra now and will for atleast 6 months. I did everything I got told to do and my healing process was fab 🙂 xx

    Hello!

Thanks for your reply, I’m going to do the same and stick to what I was told. I’ve bought a new sports bra which is a lot less obvious so that will have to do for now! 🙂

I broke the rules a little and had a few braless nights for bed just for relief lol and 2 nights out wearing a normal bra although it was non wired and one night braless but wearing a tight fitting crop top ( similar to a sports bras) xx

I did a lot of days without a bra and a couple nights. Broke the rules with bras too it’s just whatever feels more comfortable for you x

i wore my sports bra every day for the 6 weeks, only took it off to shower and that was it, for the amount you’re spending you should really really listen to the surgeon when they advise to wear it 24/7 xxx

I was wondering about this too. Because I have a Halloween party on the 31st (when I will only be three weeks post-op). Would only be one night, but I imagine there might be another occasion where I might not be able to wear a sports bra. Wondering how much this might affect my results?

Also is there anything available in between – like a one of the post op bras from Asda, or Royce or M&S that would give you a decent amount of support, and no wires, without being an actual sports bra – thinking of tops that are a little more low-cut. Has anyone found/had experience with any of these? Thanks! xx

I’m 17 days PO after a reduction and I wouldn’t dream going without my bra.
The advise is there for a valid reason.

I did a couple nights braless with a supportive dress after 4-5 weeks but my nurse gave me the go ahead xx
