I contacted mya this morning because I was worried about my left incision I’ve just had a call bk and she just said to loosen the strapping slightly but not take it off. That was it no other questions about how I am etc.., is this normal for a post op call?

That’s what I didn’t understand. I rung my nurse and she reassured me much better. Apparently it’s just the strapping naturally moving into my crease when I sit down. My nurse didn’t day to loosen but to ring back if it gets worse. Uve bin fab at reassuring me Alex thank you x

this happen to me yesterday, my plaster under the bandages was coming off, so i rang the out of office number and the lady said to undo my dressing and restick the plaster on! Me and my mum were just sitting there like WELL HOW ARE WE GONA DO THIS LOL? There was no way i could lift up my bandages its like glued on. So lucky my mum has skinny fingers and she shoved it down my clevege bit and tried to stick it back on that way lol. Thankfully it worked. But i dont think the lady i spoke to had a clue! xx

Oh gosh that’s ridiculous! My normal nurse was brill really reassured me but the other lady who called me didn’t give me much faith at all. Oh fingers crossed we’ll both be ok. Happy healing Lulu.
