Post op care advice

Hi ladies,
I am now 11DPO and wanted some advice. My nurse said at my 1week check all my incisions looked ok, not infected etc, she put on some small steri strips and said to remove them today when I could start showering again.
So tonight I’ve had my first shower since the op – AMAZING – however I noticed on one of my incisions, there looks like there’s a tiny bit of something oozing .. not sure if this is normal or maybe just caught the incision taking the strips off? Only very small amount.
Also is there anything you can take/do to help get rid of bruising? Finding these areas a bit sore and still can’t lift one of my arms very high.

you can take arnica tablets. I took them and my bruising cleared up so quick! Usually I’m such a slow healer.

I can’t help with the first bit but If your concerned ring your nurse again or send her a photo xxxx

Arnica tablets for bruising, what colour is the fluid that is oozing out? xxx

The incision seems to be ok now! Perhaps just didn’t like the steristrips coming off xx
