    Hey guys,

So I had my BA on Tuesday at Preston with dr traynor. The whole process went great from start to finish. I was mostly scared of being put to sleep and the actual surgery as I’m not good with things like that! But the staff made me feel so comfortable and I had hardly any pain while at the hospital.

Anyway, I’m now on day 3 and feel like the pain has just got worse and isn’t going away! I was told a week off would be fine, however the thought of going back like this doesn’t seem possible!! I work with children in an active job doing activities with them, cooking, etc. and I’m meant to be going back Monday.

Just wondering if anyone made an obvious recovery from day 4-6 and that’s what I’m hoping for? I can easily get someone to cover for me next week but missing out on 5 days pay just seems so depressing and I can’t just take the beginning of the week off as I work away.

Hey Hun, how old are the kids you work with? I have a 2 year old I’m I’m struggling so bad to pick her up, but that’s all, I had unders so pulls on my muscles, and I also got told not to pick her up till I’m 6 weeks post op. I did feel well enough to go back to work though but I’m in banking so not an active job, so I’m sure you’ll be ok if you avoid picking the kids up xx

Hey @abbiejay I work with children too and had mime last Saturday. I thought the pain was never going to ease up and it was just getting worse! I went to the doctor yesterday and was signed off for another week. Today is day 6 and I’m feeling a hell of a lot better even for having my strapping off today! Just rest lots. Xx

Thanks for the reply guys! The kids are key stage 1 so quite mixed but I also have to drive from Manchester to Lincoln which at the moment I definitely couldn’t do!! Think I will just take another week off as guess health is more important than money! Good luck on your recoveries xxx
