Post-op day 5!

I had 425/450 unders on wed & i’m back at work already (which is ridiculous I know, & I totally deserve all the pain I get! ) but it’s the only time I could get the op done & get the time off work etc so it worked out as 4 days off after the op :/…… my boyfs told me off coz he wanted me to get a sick note and have another week but I work for a really small care home, there’s only 3 staff including me, & one off them is off from today for a week so I really didn’t want to let them down & leave them with 1 staff member! And I know it’s daft but I haven’t even told them what ive had done, I wanted as little amount of people to know as possible & didn’t think it was anyone else’s business tbh. So now i’m sat at work on one of the beds clutching my boobs lol……. can’t wait to get home & get some ice on them! & i’m daft anyway coz I was an a/b before & currently in an F sports bra so they’re probably gonna notice anyway!

I can’t believe you are back at work on day 4 post-op hun! You really should be in bed resting. I hope you are ok 🙂 do you have to do much lifting at work? Xx

@lisalili I know! My family/bf have gave me a ticking off, but there wasn’t much I could do x i’m care/domestic so i usually lug hoovers & mop buckets around but I am taking it easier than usual hun, see what I can get away with! Xx

I also can’t believe i’m in an F sports bra & think people won’t notice the change lol

wow! Omg you’ve just reminded me I have that sports bra but I bought in a 34E no idea if it will fit!! Haha They look lovely and big hun! What size were you before 34a? I had 550cc but am still in my Macom bras. I’m going try that sports bra on and see. I’m glad to hear you are doing less at work because hoovering is one of the worst things you can do at the moment hun. I’m 12 days post op today and I’m still not hoovering xx

@lisalili It’s a great bra for £6 isn’t it! Really supportive, I sent my bf out to buy me one as I’d bought an E shock absorber and a DD sports bra from m&s before the op & neither of them fit me! So been wearing my macom constantly but I felt minging & it needed washing x I was a 32a/b hun, got my nurse appt tomorrow and am dreading having the dressings off I don’t want to see the incisions! Haha, does the nurse re-dress them or leave them off? Xx

Ahh you will be fine hun 🙂 it’s like taking a plaster off. I think sometimes they just cover them up it depends on the wound really though. Xx

@jennifer1990 I can’t beleive you were back in today! I went into town today, had my hair washed and blow dried and bought a sports bra from M&S and was shocked when I couldn’t even get a 32D to get close to closing! I bought a 32DD but thats still snug! I’m tired now though from being out and about!

hope you found work OK and they didn’t push you to hard! I literally told anyone who would listen at work so i don’t have to hide them when i go back on friday! I expect them all to make me a brew and make a few boob jokes! I’m an accountant though so I guess I’m less worried about going back because i’ll be sat still all day!

@ftaitt2 thanks hun!! 🙂 I know! Feeling it now :/ boobies are sore! Should’ve just told them but couldn’t be bothered, my boss is an old man so that would’ve been awkward lol, and one of my colleagues is lovely but the other one is a bit funny at times & just couldn’t be bothered telling her, anyway managed to get away with it I think so i’ll just take it easy for rest of the week & if it gets too much i’ll tell them x how you gettin on? Whens your nurse appointment? It’s gettin easier thank god although can’t wait for them to soften up! xx

Eee hun I Can’t believe your back at work I’m day four and couldn’t think of any worse at the moment lol. I can’t even do my own hair or put a top by myself yet my arms won’t lift up that far is this normal? X

@danielle15 yeah I think it’s totally normal hun! Tbh i dont know how I did it but its amazing what you can do when you don’t have a choice lol, am feeling a lot better though only taking paracetamol & brufen when I have too! Still can’t move my arms too much though so just trying to be careful Xx

Also just took pics & can’t believe how much they’ve changed already! Still very high up & swollen but love them! 🙂 pics on my profile, won’t let me put them on here x

I’m back in two days time myself dreading it. Hope I can manage but like u say when you have to you to have to u x
