Post op. "dead arm" right boon more sore

Hi ya girls.
I had my op on 11 march.
My strapping is really tight and is becoming uncomfortable. Today my right arm/shoulder feels like a full ache like a dead arm. And my right boob is more sore. Has been since the op.
Left is fine.
I’m right handed, is this normal.
I worry I have strained it coz unfortunately I can’t NOT do anything and relax haha x

I feel your pain! I had my op on weds and my right side is killing me, its far more swollen than my left! Feeling so sick from the codeine too, blurgh!
Cant wait to feel normal again ha!

When she pled my right drain out it proper hurt. Do u think it dun nefin bad to my boob?

Sounds weird but I was worrying that what if she pulled it out from the muscle….and now I have one over the muscle and one under haha!
Coz my left feels tight as I if expect but my right don’t.

Mine is the same, right one hurt with drain, plus had more in the drain, it’s also the most swollen still xx

Dead arm/ numb arm in other words isnt common.but does happen and can happen when positioned on OR table the nerves can get stretched and have pressure on them causing them to swell up it usually goes between first few weeks to 3months x

It’s not well bad just aches from time to time!
Yer I want it off but also think I am going to feel very heavy n feel I need to hold my boobs hahah!
I took my macom off yday to wash it and have a shallow bath. Even tho I still have my strapping I felt very heavy!
Antihistamine seemed to help with itching x

Feeling a lot better today.

I’m all done! Aching a bit as been woke up by it hence why I’m on here so early lol plus I slept so much yesterday. Trying to resist trading pain meds until later xx

Congrats again bub but if u r in pain take them sweetie.
That’s what they r there for u can take them every 4-6 hrs.
Don’t be in pain just take them. I did for a few days n then yday I didn’t take any strong ones at all just paracetamol. N the day before that I only took paracetamol in the day but strong ones before bed x

Thanks yeah I took them in the end! Still can’t believe Iv had it done lol even though I have boobs ha xx
