    Hello girls,

I’ve just had my op done, not in too much pain so far so I’m quite happy. I was just wondering when all you post op girls started exercise again. Obviously I don’t want to damage my new boobs 🙂 or cause rippling but I’m used to going to the gym about 5 times a week and finding time off hard. How long did you girls wait before going back to the gym and are there any things or bras you’d recommend which would help minimise damage?
I was thinking if I walk on a treadmill after 2 weeks that should be ok?

    Thanks

    Lauren

Hey Lauren. I went for my 1st run today after 2 months but I had a problem with my stitches. My local doc said I use the bike and static exercise. I bought a shock absorber which was really good x

Check with your surgeon Lauren. Mine said 3 weeks for lower body, light exercise and 4 weeks for running. And then listen to your own body and take it easy when you do try back. I definitely wasn’t up for running at 4 weeks. The shock absorber run bra is very supportive and lots of girls wear two sports bras for extra support. xx

PS I read rave reviews about a Triumph Triaction extreme sports bra and have ordered one, so I’ll try to remember to feedback on here once I’ve tried it out 🙂

Hi Lauren, I’m 10 days post op and my surgeon said I could go back the gym at 3-4 weeks but I’m gonna start of with lower body workouts like the bike and cross trainer without arms. I’ve also bought a high impact shock absorber sports bra and I’m gonna double up to start with. X

    hey
Thanks A30, let me know how the lunges go on, hope you do ok. im not sure about the running but i think cross trainer maybe after 4 weeks, altho atm it hurts every time i move my arms lol.
thats a really good idea, im going to look at that now. long walk sounds good i thought that too after 2 weeks just to ease my way back in and so i dont go crazy from no gym.
good luck and thanks for the advice so far

Hey Lauren I’ve got the same as a30 the red and black one. Really comfy I got it in a 34e from an outlet shop in Edinburgh. The stitches are fine now, it’s was like it was coming loose under my right boob x

Got a 32e and it supports me really well. I was measured that size in one shop but 34e in another. So I got my size x
