Post op girls….

How long did it take till your stitches completely disappeared externally?
I have my 6 week post op check today and my stitches are still there, just in the corners of my incisions. I think the one has a scab attached to it, the scab has come off my skin, but it seems stuck to a stitch :-/ Can anyone shed some light as to if you think I’ll get the go ahead to do everything as normal today or if Ill have to carry on wearing a sports bra for a couple more weeks?

You may hav to continue to wear a sports bra. Mine were defintly gone by 6 weeks.

Sometimes the stitches need trimming, if they are meant to dissolve, as we do this in work. call the clinic x

Thank you girls. I have my check up in a few hours, I just really want to just not have to wear a bra for a few hours lol. I’d have thought they’d have all dissolved by now, internally I feel they have, as they’re not bumpy any more. I’m just hoping that the nurse will cut them…fingers crossed! x
