Post op healing question x

Hi girls

I’m 2 days PO and I feel like they’re healing fine and doing okay. Swelling is still massive and they feel like they’re gonna fall out when I take my bra off which I expected anyway.

My main question is, did anyone feel like one boob was being great and didn’t really hurt, but the other one was being an absolute pain? My left is being a little gem and just being normal 🙂 but my right is being a witch!! Constantly have a twinge when I’m sat still and if I do anything with my right arm it makes my boob so tight and painful, especially down the outside of my boob near my armpit. It hurts to touch the outside of it too, keep panicking I’ve done something to it!

Should I presume it’s normal for one to be annoying me? Xxx

I’ve got exactly the same with my left boob ive read in the booklet i was given off mya that it will be nerves and it is normal at this stage so i wouldn’t panic atm ☺ xxx

Okie doke thanks Hun. It’s easy to worry isn’t it! The slightest thing and I think I’m starting with capsular contracture! Xx

Also sorry, which booklet are you referring to? I haven’t been given one xx

I thought exactly the same, it’s in the information the nurse should of gave you xxx

Paula mines the samr last few days the left was really hurting and I couldnt move my arm and now today the right one is constantly aching n giving me grief!! Im very paranoid too!! But all in all I think everything id norm so far :/ xx

Argh it won’t load, is it a booklet that says “mentor gel breast implants” and there’s loads of different languages in it? X

No you should have got a few booklets at your pre op it will have mya on it xx

I literally haven’t been given anything I’m so annoyed! I’m gonna ask for them at my post op. I had to ring yesterday to book my post op as no one had done it. They’ve been so unorganised with me xx

Personally i don’t think mya is worth all the hype i keep seeing so many bad reviews about aftercare xx

Yeah I’m a bit narked off at the aftercare so far. I’m sure it’ll be okay. It doesn’t give me much confidence though for if something goes badly wrong down the line. We’ll see, keep me updated on how you’re doing xxx

It’s reassuring to hear I’m not alone with my right boob! My left is fine and my right feels awful. So strange ! Xx

Isn’t it odd, I’ve constantly got ice on my right one near my arm pit. Are you right handed? Xx

Yea I am, do you think it could be the difference in the muscle . Wish I was ambidextrous ! Xx

I’m not sure. I’ve not been doing a lot but what I have been doing like grabbing loo roll and running the tap etc has been with my right arm so maybe it’s just from using it. Argh too much info but I’ve come on today too so I’ve got the uncomfortableness from that too – good god when will this all end hahaha xx

Yep I had exactly the same! My left has been fine all alone but my right was definitely the naughty child at the beginning! So much more grief and pain xx

My left is still playing up but my right is fine, incisions are getting itchy so suppose im healing well, glad your feeling better ☺ xxx

So glad you’re feeling better 🙂 I’m not feeling any better yet, same as yesterday, very tight and sore. Hoping I’ll feel better over the weekend. Can’t wait to see them change, get squishy and actually begin to enjoy them 🙂 my incisions aren’t itchy wish they were to be honest. My nipples itch haha but my nipples are also still very soft and weird feeling, not much sensation in them xx

How are you all feeling after the weekend? Much better I hope 🙂 I felt alot better fri/sat and then today ( so a week post op) iv lits never been in so much pain!!! I cant believe it its like iv gone backwards! Really numb boobs, spesh the right one no strength in my arms again and and agonising sharp sensation that doesnt really seem to go at all in one side!! Has anyonr else had this? I rang mya and spoke to the nurse and she said all sounds normal but I really dont know and it really hurts! I could cry I thought I was healing fine but seems not 🙁 any advise at all would be great, feeling rather pants! It feels like I have a numb painful rock just on my body!! X

Oh that’s such a shame! Wonder why it’s doing that after you felt better. Have you taken ibuprofen? I’m feeling better today thank you I had my incisions cleaned yesterday and I just feel better today somehow xxx

I get that same pain still Nicole i seen the nurse today and she said it’s perfectly normal, just take it easy and it will get better ☺ x

ladies….with this pain you are having….have you been taking your antibiotics and pain relief regular? i ask this because i know some people are happy to lay off the pills, so wonder if you have? im the type to worry and take pain killers every four hours lol

Yeah Hun I took mine whenever I was supposed to. I’ve stopped taking them now as i’m 10 days post op but my right boob is still annoying me. It’s not painful anymore just uncomfortable xx
