Hey I’m 7 weeks post op and finally feel ready to start riding again. I’m worried about what sports bra to wear if anyone had any recommendations? I’ve got the m and s high impact ones but I’m not sure if there enough support. And I’m not sure my boobs are best with abit of movement been allowed or completely strapped down, just don’t want to damage them in any way, never had the need to strap them down before ???? thanks xx

My surgery is 7 weeks today and I’m the most nervous about getting back on post surgery! Haven’t been able to find any other riders who have had it done so would be interested to know how you get on. I’m assuming they need to be strapped down to within an inch of their life but no idea!

hi girls – I am 12 weeks and started back riding at 10 weeks, I just wore my m&s high impact bra and actually found it fine. i schooled him for a good 35 minutes – trotted and cantered and felt minimal movement. Its great to be back in the saddle again 🙂 ( not so great to be back mucking out!) hahah If you think about it, you rise trot so literally your boobs don’t jiggle about at all.

Great to read from other horse riders! I’m still to have my first consultation so a little way off for me yet, but good to know how you’re all getting on back in the saddle again!

When did you guys start mucking out again? Hoping that I’ll have mine chucked out for the summer by surgery day (March weather is always hit and miss though so maybe not!). Did you manage any lunging or anything? I’ve got friends that will keep mine going post surgery but I’m sure I’ll be itching to get back to it!
