Post op ladies- 8AM PRESTON ADVICE

Hey girlies,

My surgery is next Sunday at Preston and my admission time is 8AM. Was just wondering what the latest times some of the 8am admission girls left at?

My dad is my chaperone as my mum doesn’t drive. And I don’t know whether to get him to drive home and then come back later or just wait around? As it’s just a 40 minute drive from mine.

Hi Hun 🙂 I had an 8am admission for Preston. They told me I was first to arrive but I was 6th on the list for that day and I got taken to theatre around 12pm
The nurse did say they sometimes do first come first served but it just depends what ops they are performing that day etc
Your only actually in theatre for 45 mins – 1 hour too 🙂
I also only live 45 mins away from Preston so I just text my friend just before I went to theatre and by the time she got there I was out and awake 🙂
You do have to wait 2 hrs after your op though, then as long as everything is okay with your obs and you have ate some food, drank some water and had a wee, you can be discharged xxx
