Post op-lifting

My girls will be 12 months and 2.5 years when I have my op…how soon do you reckon I could pick my youngest up!? Couple of weeks?!xx

They say the 1-2weeks that you really need to take care my lovely all I can say is make sure I have a really strong sports bra with my little one I pick him up really close to my body I had chest band to whitch was good

I pick up my 13month 1 week post op but really carefully and close to my chest. I think my body knows what’s comfortable and what’s too much. I haven’t picked up my 3 year old. Xx

thanks 🙂 i’ll see how i get on but good to hear its not that long….! i keep thinking i managed with a c-section so i should be ok after this…..like you say i’;; just see what my body is comfortable with..!xx

Yeah I know that feeling too I had two c sections xx

Would you say it’s worse than having the sections lol?!! I managed pretty well mind with my two so good I’ll find this ok!xx

Section recovery lasted longer. But the pain was equal I would say, for me anyway. Remember everyone is different and for me it was unbearable for the first 4 days but now 9 days post op and it’s hard to even remember how bad the pain was. It won’t last forever xx
