    Hi girls, had my op yesterday, 300 unders and so far really pleased with the result. Am just in quite a lot of pain ? Consider myself to be quite a tough cookie but feel like I’ve got someone sat on my chest and under my arms so sore as well. Even taking a deep breath is painful. Did anyone else feel like this?! Xxx

    Hi Tracey, I had unders 5 days ago and they were agony for the first two days! Hang in there it does get a little easier. Breathing in was so painful for me I had to shallow breath. Now the pain is gone it’s more irritating pulling sensations that I’m getting. Xxx

    I had 450cc over yesterday so not unders but it feels like my muscles in my chest armpits and ribs had been ripped really badly and I struggle to stand up straight as it feels like it’s pulling on my stitches. I’m hoping it will get a bit better from tommorow! Xx

    Hi Tracey, you will most likely wake up tomorrow morning and already feel a little relief, it does get better day by day. I’m just hoping the swelling goes now as my right implant is sitting slightly higher than my left, which they were identical the other day! I have emailed surgeon who said not to worry at this stage which is comforting. As each day passes one thing goes and another niggle appears haha. Roll on six months when they’re pretty much settles hey?! X x

I want to take my bra off for a bit and breast band but I feel like my boobs might fall off if I do! Have you taken your bra off? Xx

    Hi @gemjay82, how are you doing? Yep hospital gave me co-codamol which I’ve stopped taking as I was really sick last night and this morning and think it may have been that. So painful being sick!! The consultant also gave me a muscle relaxant that she said I have to take, so think I’ll stick to that and paracetamol and maybe some ibuprofen when I’veeaten something. Have you got your sports bra on? I haven’t taken mine off yet since post op, scared it’s going to hurt! Xx

    Hi everyone I am new to this but had my ba yesterday. Had unders and feel very achey more than in pain but cannot get up from a sitting position! My advice is ibuprofen to help with recovery as it seems to be helping me a lot. Hope u are all feeling better soon. Ps. How long do you have to keep the band on? And sleep at 45 degrees.. It’s unnatural! Xx

    Hi @tracey, I’ve heard the cocodomol can make people feel sick, I’m just taking ibroprofen and paracetamol which seems to be ok.
    I’m in a post surgical bra with a strap over the front and another chest band on top of that. It’s tight!
    The hospital said it must stay on until my post week app on Monday and I don’t want to risk taking it off so am going to
    follow their orders even though I so want to see them!
    I have managed a little peak from the top But that’s all. Hope you get some sleep tonight, sleeping upright is a pain ?

    Hi @natalie, congrats on your op. My hospital (not mya) said my bra and band are to stay on until my one week post op check but all hospitals are different, they should have told you when you left hospital or call them to double check X hope your recovery has been ok so far x

    I’m still in a fair amount or pain I just feel like there going to rip open! It’s the underneath and my ribs and where the stitches are that are causing me most pain! I have strapping on and also had a nipple lift on one side but as I can’t feel the top or my nipples that isn’t causing me any pain. My strapping is just along the top and bottom but can’t wait format to come off! I just have a sports bra on over the top but not a tight one and I have had it off most of the day as the strapping is holding me together anyway xx

    Hi girls, had my op yesterday and was all fine until this morning haha woke up in quite a bit of pain and can barely move or breathe. It’s like sharp pains when I breathe and feels like it’s my breast bone and down the middle that’s really hurting. I’ve heard of a lot of girls being given codeine but I’ve just been sent away with paracetamol and ibuprofen ? I’ve got some cocodamol myself, do you take it instead of the paracetamol or instead of both? X

    Hi girls, hope everyone is feeling a bit better today? @nataliepebbles my surgeon told me I have to keep the band on for 4 weeks! It’s not too uncomfortable actually, I’m more worried about taking it and my sports bra off as feel like they will fall off with them! Hi @gemjay82 how are you? I slept a bit better last night thank you, have completely stopped taking the codeine, paracetamol and Ibuprofen seem to be working well and no sickness!

    @agquick
    how are you today hun?

    @lucy2016
    how are you? Co codamol has paracetamol in it already so you can only take one or the other not both! I was given codeine but made me feel very sick and bloated so just sticking to paracetamol and ibuprofen. Hope you’re doing ok!
    Happy healing all xxx

    Hi girls,

    I’m ok today, slept more last night, I went out for an evening walk and think that helped knacker me out before bed.
    I called my nurse earlier as the band I had on over my surgical bra was so tight it was really uncomfortable and when I checked the paperwork from my surgeons secretary it said the band could be taken off after 48 hours (my op was Monday) so called and asked the nurse and she said it could be removed so i just have the bra now which does have a strap across it but no where near as tight as the chest band! Will try and upload pic so you know what I mean. If your in doubt and uncomfortable just call your nurse x

    Thank you that helps, I’ve taken off the band and just have my Macom bra on now. I put the band on over my tshirt because it irritated my under arms. In quite abit of pain now just riding it out lol xx
