Post op tips

Hey girls! Got my opp on Sunday, admission time 11.30 at Doncaster with MR Kazzazi, anybody know if I need to be wearing a sports bra during the first week whilst my strapping is on or is it only when it gets taken off that you need one? Thanks!

not all surgeon’s use strapping, some use what looks like large plasters so yes take your sports bra in case you need it but you may not. best of luck, im 4 days post op and already its the best thing i have done x x x

Hi had my pre op Tuesday and I am having dr Kazzazi and he puts strapping in which is removed at post op check around a week. The strapping leaves your nipples out so you can check for discolouration.
I too wonder if you could wear a soft sports bra over top for coverage.

Thanks girls! I’m not sure what size I will need in a sports bra if I’m off to be hopefully around 34d, thanks Debbie what did you get? I can’t wait! When is your opp Amy? I’m not sure whether to wait till I’ve had them done to buy a bra don’t want to be wasting money if it doesn’t fit! X

My op is 19/12/14 jenny the nurse suggested I definetly go up a back size for comfort and said the best ones are a 2 pack from asda £7 for both

With my ops the comanpy I went with don’t use all that strapping we get chest bands that hold them down and pushes them together and helps them settle in down fast x
