Post open rhino help please

Hi

I’m 3 days post op and I know that’s early but the tip is the opposite of what I asked for and I’m really scared it won’t change enough. It’s turned up, nostrils showing and a extremely pointy tip- kind of like the grinch. Can you please let me know if you had a similar experience? Did it change, did you need revision? Isaid I wanted to look like me still and I don’t 🙁

Who did you have Hun? Do you still have your cast on? It’s very early days and hard to see I suppose. When your cast comes off it will swell up. Don’t have regrets, I’m sure it will be fine. I see lots of people saying its awful in first weeks! then it all settles and they are happy. Hope it’s ok, I’m having mine on 3rd feb xx

Dont worry hun, your only 3 days post op, your still very swollen, dont worry too much about the shape because everything is changing still. Open rhino is a long recovery so dont be too upset right now, stick it out for a few weeks at least while it stops swelling. Even with the cast on you wont be able to get a really good feel for what its going to look like 🙂 xx

Hi Dee1986, Please dont worry!! Mine looked like this – its just because your nose is very swollen. I looked like a little swollen pig. It doesnt look like this when the cast is off I promise! Just be patient – The cast is very deceiving and you cannot work out the shape of your nose for love nor money!
