Post surgery

The socks they tell you to wear after the opp.. how long do i have to keep them on? They told me but i can not remember

I was told to keep them on until you’re pretty much back to your normal activity level. I wore mine for a couple of weeks as I was so paranoid about dvt! X

@serenevictoria how did you keep them on that long!? Im sure they said 2 -3 days to me but by the time it got to 24 hours after my op they was driving me insane so i took them off and made sure i moved about walking around the house n whatnot 🙂

They said 3 days to me. I took them off after a few hours of being home, but I’m usually up every 20 minutes to use the toilet anyways so wasn’t just sat around

Thanks girls!! I have mine on since sunday morning and there driving me crazy now i will take them off later today then 😀

Ha I think I’m the only person who wasn’t bothered by them! I get ridiculously cold feet, so I’m used to permanently wearing socks anyway! I’d also just like to say, I was given two pairs of socks so I wasn’t being really gross and wearing the same ones for like two weeks! Haha xx
