I am 2 days post op for vaser. My surgeon was Dr Marcellino and I had vaser on my inner and outer thighs and knees. Currently in a lot of pain, had my post op check up today and all the incision sights were re dressed. My legs look battered and bruised however I can see the results already. The nurse said I would not see the full results for a minimum of 6 weeks so the fact I can see results already is amazing!
Oh no hun is the post op pain really bad? I’m in on Tuesday for the same op plus a BA xx
I’ve found the pain really bad, I’ve struggled to walk but the nurse said its all normal as I am only on day 3 post op! And the legs take longer to heal because they are never fully rested as you’ve got to walk haha 🙂 they give you pain killers which do help but it’s just a case of bearing with it because it can only get better!! Are you excited? 🙂 xxx
Oh no i was afraid of that. I’m expecting my vaser to be worse pain than my BA to be honest. I’m going to feel like I’ve been hit by a train! Lol. Are you happy with the results tho hun? I’m nervous but will be happy to hopefully see skinner thighs when I wake up!
Xx
Yeah I honestly feel like I’ve been battered and beaten haha. Such a struggle getting up and sitting down but once I’m up and walking it’s not too bad. I can see some results but my swelling is bad that the nurse said I won’t see the proper results for a good couple of weeks. I am excited for this 4-6 recovery to be up so I can see the final result! 🙂 I’m so glad I’ve had it done though, it’s just a waiting game now 🙁 xx
Hi @laurie, I had laser lipo on my legs by Dr Kingdon just over 3 years ago. I felt terrible after as well and my inner knees were really swollen, i saw results straight away but was still seeing results even 6 months later. All this time on and I don’t regret it one bit! Happy healing xxx
Ah thank you taya this has made me feel so much better! I haven’t seen my before and after pictures yet either so I’m literally going by judgement of my own eyes haha. I don’t regret it at all even with all this pain and I don’t think I will! I’ve always longer for skinnier legs so hopefully my wish has come true!
@kerriexxx hi! I didn’t follow a strict diet afterwards I just continued as I was. With laser (which I had) the fat cells don’t come back in that place so if I put on weight it goes elsewhere, however when I was healed and got back into the gym, I lost more weight anyway I think it kind of spurred me on. I’ve not been as heavy as I was before I had the op but I’m confident my leg shape is changed and will stay changed completely now. Over three years on and I’m still very happy xxxx
Yes I’ve still got my leggings on now I have to wear them for 6 weeks! I found going to the toilet an absolute nightmare the first few days as it was so painful to sit down!! But it does get easier I promise 🙂 I found that the pain is worse when you take the leggings off after a few days for a shower as there is no compression and my legs did swell a bit! They are difficult to get back on as well. Xxx
Yes @laurie me to! My nurse made the crotchless for me which is brilliant so I sort of hover over the toilet with a cardboard bowl as if I sit down it hurts the back of my legs. It’s nicer not having to pull my leggings up and down too. Especially when they were bleeding everywhere IT was horrible. I think they have been given a chance to scan over now. When are you allowed to shower? My nurse said not for at least a week? But not sure if that’s my coz of my BA too. They are pretty bruised now but I think I can see results. He took 3.6 litres so must have made some improvement at least. I find it hard to walk I sort of shuffle around hunched over clutching my boobs lol. Hope your healing is still going well xx
I was allowed a shower after 2 days but literally just a quick spray over no soap or anything but yes it may be different because of you BA. They took about 2.5 from me I think I remember the nurse saying, I’m just praying that when the 6 weeks over I can see a really noticeable difference as I can only see a little one atm! Im now nearly 2 weeks post op and I have only got a bit of pain when I first stand up but apart from that I’m pain free!! 🙂 xxxx
