Hey ladies, any of those gym bunnies out there who have already had their BA – just wondering if you recommend stopping upper body weight training leading up to the op so that the muscles are not so tight?
I’m 10 days post op, it was the best thing that I’ve ever done. I still ache quite a bit but I feel so good about myself. I’m no longer the flat ugly duckling that hides in the corner.
I had partials and worked out heavy weights including chest right up to the day before. My surgeon said it doesnt make a difference! I figured I’m having 6 weeks off anyway so carried on. Didn’t particularly have much pain at all! I’d say carry on as normal as you will miss it like hell for a month after 😉 x
